Title: What are you currently watching???
Post by: cash_fan on February 04, 2018, 08:48:37 PM
Just finished the first season of Van Helsing on Netflix.  The first episode was great, then the next 10 were boring, then the last two were really good.  I'm gonna keep going, since they just put Season 2 on there.

If you like The Walking Dead you might enjoy this.  It's pretty much the same, instead of zombies though they have vampires.

Season 1 I give a 6/10.

No TV shows for now, other than the odd Bill Maher or John Oliver I see on HBO (I can only take them in 15-20 minute doses).

I'm trying to do the weekly movie rewatch of the Marvel movies leading up to Inifinity War in May.

Thanks to having 3 PVRs in our house, I actually watch a lot of TV.  I don't watch any of them live.

So here is the list in order of what I look forward to watching:

1) Gotham - great show
2) X-Files - showing my age
3) Lethal Weapon - love Riggs
4) Star Trek Discovery
5) CBS Sunday Morning - must see TV
6) Criminal Minds - strangely I fall to sleep to this one often
7) Law and Order -also I use this to fall asleep
8. Super Girl - watch this with my daughter
9) Flash
10) DC Legends of Tomorrow
11) 60 minutes
12) Marvel Agent of Shield
13) Marvel Runaway
14) Survivor
15) Amazing Race
16) Star Wars Rebels - I have all of them PVR for this season and have not watched any of them yet - so not sure if it is any good.

If it was not for the PVR, I would probably make an effort to watch the first 5 on my list.  I tend to miss a lot of shows - like 10 and then watch them while I am working out.  Right now I am watching the Flash from October.

8. Super Girl -
9) Flash
10) DC Legends of Tomorrow

Forgot about these because as a family we're getting behind but yes, watch these too!

16) Star Wars Rebels - I have all of them PVR for this season and have not watched any of them yet - so not sure if it is any good.
Same for me! Sitting there waiting to be watched.

Seriously?  You are really, really missing out here.  Especially after season 1.  Most episodes are top quality stuff (there's a couple of fluff ones in there, but that's almost every series. ever)

i would watch Rebels basically before everything else on your list.

There's a few shows I'm slowly and sporadically working my way through, in binge spurts every once in a while when my workload isn't too heavy (a rare occasion):

Black Sails
Peaky Blinders
The Wire
Gotham
Agents of SHIELD
Game of Thrones (waaaaaay behind on this)

There's a whole pile more that I haven't even started, but that I hope (someday) to get into. Maybe when I retire? Lol

Yeah I left shows I'm watching but that are not playing right now off my list:

Game of Thrones
The Walking Dead (but will probably stop watching soon)
Better Call Saul
The Americans
Legion
Stranger Things (thanks for the reminder!)

I am not watching much now. I just finished season 2 of Stranger Things, which is a great show and I highly recommend it to anyone, but it is particularly good for a child of the 80s because of the nostalgia factor.
