$18 for a 3 3/4" figure officially ends my run at collecting these.

I'm not much of a comic guy, I used to have some of the limited series Marvel stuff and still have the Cloak and Dagger series and some others.  But the very first comic I got and what introduced me to Star Wars was issue #2 with Ben and Luke fighting in the cantina.  For some reason Luke is saying "swing that saber Ben, or we're dead!", or something like that....clearly didn't happen.

I was in the hospital for some minor surgery and my parents had bought it for me for something to read.  Then I saw the movie.  I went to the local comic shop every month after that purchased the entire Marvel run, annuals and all.  Still have them all bagged, some backed, and the first issue in a hard case.

crazy.  I listed mine on kijiji a while back for $200 with the "training on the falcon" battle pack included (all loose) with not one bite...  Kinda glad though.  She looks good on my shelf and I like hitting the buttons every once and while..

The Legacy Millennium Falcon sold at the original price of 250$ later sells for 400-500$ loose and not even complete.

It actually sells for that much?

Does anyone know the price point on these yet?  $15, $20?

The PDF files are located towards the bottom of the page if anyone is brave enough to want to attempt this.

My brother makes models that are constructed from patterns printed onto paper, cut with scissors and x-acto knives and then glued together. He found this one and shared it with me.  It's crazy detailed and considering the material it's made out of, absolutely amazing...

They tried that.  The "Express" locations.  They were closed as a cost cutting measure.

On the left hand side with all the options to narrow the search, there is a "sold by" option.  You have to select 'see more' and then just click 'walmart' to get rid of all the 3rd party sellers.

Do those display boxes come with the peg bases in them, or at they separate?

And naturally it hurts that TVC2018 will start off with a wave of mostly repacks of pegwarmers and main characters that everyone has already except for Snoke. I mean, does Hasbro even use common sense any more?

I actually haven't bought a single figure from the last 3 movies.  The last one I purchased was the Rex from Rebels.  Depending on the price point, TVC might draw me back to collecting Hasbro stuff again.  I haven't collected the 6" either as the # of exclusives and the cost to get them completely turned me off of them.  I started collecting SW Funko's , but they've gone the same way in regards to exclusives.

That first wave will be all new to me!!

Wampa Cave / Netflix-The Toys That Made Us
« on: December 26, 2017, 06:56:12 AM »
Just found a show on Netflix last night called The Toys That Made Us.  4 Episodes I believe and the history of the toys that kids grew up on.  The first focusing on Star Wars. All the major brands turning down the movie rights till Kenner picked it up through to the sale of Lucasfilm to Disney and the new movies.

Some great interviews with the guys who designed the vintage SW lines of toys.

But not George....

« on: November 25, 2017, 03:55:05 PM » has the following:

-BB-8 playset: $209.97
-Canto speeder: $31.47
-Tie Silencer: $52.47
-Boosted X-wing: $55.97
-Force link with trooper set: $41.97
Plus many other price drops.

Too bad the Force Link Trooper/Praetorian Guard is not in stock and thus not possible to order...  :shakehead:

By the way, anyone knows if it's possible to have a rain check at TRU in store to get an item for the sales price when it's not in stock? Just wondering if I should get one for this set...

If the instore price is the same, then yes you can get a raincheck for a regular sale item.  1 day or 2 day type sales or midnight madness type of promotions are not eligible, but normal flyer items are (20% off all Star Wars etc.).  But it only guarantees you the price for 45 days, not that you actually get the item.  Also, they don't call if they happen to get more instock at this time of year.
