Toys r us .ca should make sure their website can sell to the USA (currently they only ship to Canada ) and then put some focus on brand exclusives. If U.S. collectors have to order from to obtain a TRU exclusive, that will drive alot of business to the website and help them compete against walmart & amazon.

If MGA and other toy companies did get together and buy up TRU Canada I can't see how that would work. If one of TRU's main problems is that they're not competitive enough because of their prices, how are they supposed to compete with walmart and amazon aggressively if those same toy companies (that hypothetically now own toys r us) are also trying to sell product to walmart and amazon?  I can't blame them for trying though.

All I know is that if they're going out of business it's not on account of me. The amount of stuff I've bought there over the years, oy. I did my part.

Disney Store is doing their 4 lithographs exclusive with bluray preorder, same as what they did for Force Awakens and Rogue One.

I've been monitoring how many orders they receive each day.  Looking at the trend and comparing it to a curve of where we'd have to be to make it to 5000 by April 3, they are not getting enough orders.  It looks as if they'd need around 2000 by end of day today to keep on pace.  My parabolic curve basically assumes a high initial response rate then dropping off as time progresses and exactly hitting 5000 at the end of April 3. If they get some large changes to the response rate such as a flurry of new orders, that would upset the current trend and get the thing back on track.

It doesn't really say if those are theatrical release or if they'll be films for disney's upcoming streaming service.

I've been playing it like crazy - despite all the bad press and complaining, it's a pretty fun game.  Starfighter Assault is my favorite mode by far.

A search for "star wars" used to yield around 400 results, lately it has been at around 900.  You can filter out the 3rd party sellers and leave just walmart in there, it looks like the 3rd partys are:

Christmas Central
Golda's Kitchen
Happy Trends
Limolin Inc.
USA Baby

With all of those filtered out the # of star wars hits goes down to a paltry 690 for walmart themselves.

Hey Darth Woo I definitely understand your hesitation on the force link starter. I snagged one for around $20 for my son and after seeing it in action I'd say it's worth about $10 if and only if you open your stuff. Biggest surprise was that 3.75" TIE Silencer actually has lights that are only activated if you have the force link. There are no batteries in the TIE Silencer, it gets its power from the force link when it gets close enough.
A neat trick, but honestly I'm of the opinion if you buy a toy for a kid,  you shouldn't have to buy something else to enable the built in features of the toy.

Thanks for the tip, my son's wanted the force link band since he has the tie silencer and a couple figures with the chip. Went to superstore, shelf tag said 29.94, scanned at 39.99, so with scanning code of practice it cost 19.94. I think that's a reasonable price for it.
