Feedback A-G / Crash22
« on: December 12, 2012, 12:24:10 AM »
Just finished my end of the deal with Crash22. Great communication and speedy payment so a seller couldn't ask for anything more.  Hope my end of the bargain meets his expectations too.

Just wrapped up my first deal with DM.  I sent him a few pieces and hopefully they are to his satisfaction.  Communication was excellent and payment speedy; perfect from this seller's standpoint.

Just completed our first deal and it went as well as these things go - flawless.  No worries here.

Scout Report / Re: Vintage Wave 5 found in the US

I haven't seen wave 3 anywhere but more importantly haven't read of anyone finding it in Canada other than at a specialty store, so not at general retail.

Vintage Kenner (1978-1985) / Re: AFA Grading
« on: December 09, 2010, 11:33:45 AM »
I just can't justify sending anything to AFA for these reasons and more.  The cost involved is fine, but the shipping and then risking having to pay customs fees on your own item coming back across the border?  Blech.

The worst though is the story McKillop had about sending in his Toy Fair Vader to be graded and he is pretty much positive they sent him back a different, and lower quality, graded TF Vader.  Basically I don't think you can trust them, at least based on that story.

Don't know if this is old news since I don't hunt much, but found a Clone Wars Y-wing at Winners for $39.99.  :confused0024:

Ordering would be the wiser move - I've seen the latest series in Selkirk and on Ellice (plus TRU) Walmarts but haven't seen it at any others.  It's just not popular to stock it anymore.

I have the eFX version as well.  I passed initially on the MR version which was just as well given the fiasco that turned into.  I am waiting on an eFX OT Vader helmet as that would be really sweet.  Very pleased with my stormie lid.

First deal here and it couldn't have gone better.  Great communication, fast payment and just a real pleasure to deal with.

Second time was just as awesome as the first.  No hassles, no worries.

Just made another deal with Ken - I love taking his money.  Great guy to chat with and a true fan.

I didn't like how they stuck it too us with the Doan. The white jersey was initially promised as a wide release, but got cancelled..........

And a second Selanne that'll probably cost $300+ on the secondary market.  Ugh.

Thanks.  I'll have to check out others.  I wanted the Indy ornament as well.

Hallmark has ornaments on for 50% off.

Not in my neck of the woods - they consider them collectables and won't mark down anything that's remotely cool.  Been that way for a number of years as I used to go out on boxing day just for those, then one year walked up and they all rang through at full price.  No thanks.

Doan has already settled down to about $30 or so on ebay.  1996 is a lot of figures really.

Didn't find one here in Winnipeg, so I'll likely have to resort to the Bay.

Nice score on the Brodeur though.

Sports / Re: Hockey Super Chase

Too many superchases these days.  There are 2 in the next legends line too.  The Wayne and Mario will have numbered super chase figs.  And to anyone who finds a mustard yellow Mario, let me know what you need for it.  :)

#13 Selanne.  :tongue0024:
