Can I say I told you so?.... Can I?

 :D

5186 as of this post.

From what I was told a couple of days ago, Hasbro allowed places like Entertainment Earth, BigBadToyStore and others to up quantities from 5.

Honestly wondering if that's true now.

Well.... yes and no.

Boxed, $500 - $600
Loose, about $200-$300. Complete.

I've sold about 6 in the last couple of years. They're not quick sells, unless someone REALLY needs one.

You really think Hasbro will turn down over 1.5 million dollars?

This is getting made. They'll still offer it, without Jabba, or Yak, or the book.

Any left will most likely go to a future HasCon.

I'm positive it's getting made now. I just pulled a crapload of figures from the store here to fill it with. :)

I see the Yak EVERYWHERE now. I guess I should of given it a few hours. :)

Also, my Yak is up for sale. I have to use for him.
Shoot me offers.

I can't find any info on this Yak Face.

Are you guys ribbing me, or is it legitimately happening?

Ordered.
Will now stockpile figures for the eventual front window Sarlaac Pit display here at the store.

Anyone have a POTF2 Skiff they wanna sell me?

Whether it succeeds or not I think there will be significant implications to the hobby. The hobby seems to be in a state of flux. By hasbro going this route they have acknowledged there is a diminishing collector base. But I also think they are using this to gage that collector base.

I think it's a matter of them not wanting to invest in this (or any other large vehicle) themselves simply because most collectors KNOW the larger vehicles go on deep clearance eventually, and retails complain about taking a loss on those items - so they don't want to order them anymore.

Mattel did this years ago with Castle Grayskull. It met it's goal, it was made, and I proudly have one on display at home. It was $300 U.S.

THIS, however, I don't think it's going to reach unless they allow the entire world to order it.
I have 3 customers that one, plus myself. I plan on making a huge diorama in the front window with one. Same thing when the Castle came out - but they ordered their own, because Mattel would ship worldwide.

Mike:

I watched the latest video on your site.  Great spots and advertisement for the store.  I have not been in the store for long time, due to where I live, but it looks great.   :u:

You mean, since Sept 29th, 2012 when I re-opened? ;)

Hey Mike.  Saw you were on Hamilton news.  Congrats!

Thanks! Yeah, I've been on there at least half a dozen times in the last 5 years.
They're all posted here:

I watched SW, GI Joe & He-Man - haven't checked out the Barbie episode as of yet. I believe "The Mike" was interviewed for an upcoming episode so we will eagerly anticipate that!

Negative.
While I know many people attached to this, and supplied a couple of figures for an upcoming Transformers one (in January, I think?), I wasn't interviewed for this. ;)

Finally I can tell you guys!
It was for the Battlefront II commercial.

My shop supplied the toys for it, and I was an advisor on some of it.

Enjoy!

:artoo:

Just saw this, thanks guys!!

It's true, my landlord wants to up the rent about $800 a year, and I can get a place elsewhere for the same price, with another 500 sq. feet of space... WHY would I stay?

I get to have a lease renewal meeting in a couple of weeks... so who knows what's going to happen.

If I move, I have a place picked out, and it's also on Ottawa Street, so I won't be moving far. ;)

I've been watching its Facebook page for months now. I'd be so happy if I could easily order from him online...

I don't think that's ever coming back. Times have changed, and so have I. I personally don't have a use for an e-commerce site anymore since the store is so busy, and stock turns over quickly. However, never say never... I may re-do the site to only sell packaged items - but no vintage at all. Sorry man!

However, in the meantime, I'd suggest you guys join our social media outlets as we do update those sections:
