In the latest Toy Fare, they have pictures of the Vader from the new Comic pack with Leia. It has removable armor with a younger Anakin head. They also have Baltar Swan and Koffi. It is worth picking up or at least perusing. I will be getting all three of these packs.

Then mention that the other packs are Anakin and Assassin droid, and Baron Fel and Hobbie.

I have added a new one to my folder of picture. I wanted to do this once I finished reading the latest Star Wars Clone Wars Adventures. I love this story and the character.

I got one yesterday and hated the long neck. So I took the head off, removed 1/2 the ball at top and put the head back on. Suddenly we have a nice looking figure.

I was asked to post some of my customs that I have done. I created a flickr site:

I will be adding more as I go along.

I got an e-mail this morning from Legends saying that V-wing and Sith Infiltrator are both being shipped as we speak.

Off Topic / How long is too long
« on: May 08, 2007, 11:03:21 PM »
I won an item on E-bay back in mid-April (around the 16th) . I paid for it the next day (when I got the e-mail that I won). I have been waiting and wondering if it got lost in the mail since it hasn't turned up yet.

Today, I got an e-mail indicating that my purchase was shipped out today. That would be 3 weeks after the purchase.  :mad0137: There was no e-mail sent to indicate that it was not going to be shipped until today, the item said that it would be shipped as soon as I paid for it, and I am paying a hefty shipping fee.

So. I am wondering, how long is too long to wait? Should I send the seller a pissy e-mail indicating I am not happy? Should I leave a bad feedback? I don't plan to do business again with him. He has left me some positive feedback so I really don't want to look all childish.

Your comments?

Hey Guys;
    I just want to clarify that I know this guy is a hoarder/scalper. When Ep 3 figures came out, he literally took a cart in Walmart and just started taking all of the figures off of the racks.

    I am not into troop building so it is a little hard for me to justify taking all of a certain figure. When the McTrooper came out, I got my one and I was happy. However, I have seen some people collections and dioramas and I can understand it.

    Oh and Iceman, you and Wookie are so great for creating collections for your kids. Keep the collecting going for the next generation  :party0053:

I got mine yesterday. However, I stopped by the Walmart where I got mine yesterday after work and the one of the scalper/hoarders was there and whining that somenone got "his" McFett.

So I told him that I got it.

Watching his expression was priceless. However, when he said "I only have 2" made me want to kick him square in the groin.

God I hate scalpers and hoarders

Hey Nitrog71;
    Where are you in Canada. I would look for providers that are offering or will be offering WiMAX. It is the next era of wireless broadband and is supposed to be able to offer good rates even if you don't have complete line of site of the tower.

That's just a heads up.

I saw the Silver Wolverine at the Saskatoon TRU last night. Today I found the Face-Off sets at Toy Liquidators for $20 each. They had all 3 there so if you are in the Saskatoon area and are looking, you might find them.

London Drugs has the Monster Box Set and the Young Avengers on sale for $14.99 each. So you can get 8 figures for $30 or less than $4 a figure

And at the end, when she says "Don't touch me... that concludes the video portion", I would assume there would be some smackdown of some sorts.

Nope, it was a soft plastic cape

It is too bad, because about a year ago, London Drugs got a shipment of OTC and they had bot OTC Lando's (general and Skiff). and the best part was that they were $2.00 each. I picked up a bunch for customizing. Sorry  >:(

Hey Crack_Boots

Which Lando are we talking? The VOTC Lando or the Lando General?

Wampa Cave / What Star Wars toy regrets do you have?

I was talking with friends about regrets about things we wished we would have done. I was recalling the time that I was at a Buy-Rite drugs in 1988 and they had a clearance bin of Star Wars toys. I could have bought figures for 25 to 99 cents. They had ships from 2 dollars to 20. The worst part was the light sabers for 99 cents each. I wanted to buy a bunch but my parents freaked out on me being too old (I was 14 at the time) and wasting my money.

Alas, I left them and I am sure there was some collector in Regina that got his fill of toys.

I read earlier that someone was upset that they didn't buy a Naboo Cruiser when they were on sale at Walmart. I am sure there are more out there.
