I am pretty sure it is force link compatible, it just doesn't come with the force link device.

I thought I would pipe in considering I am the "Chad" you are all referring to.  The fact is that as already mentioned US readers are not going to bother ordering from Canada for the most part, so that is a non issue. We at Rebelscum are trying to help out Canadian collectors by letting people know when product becomes available at the various retailers.  Snowtroopers have the same opportunity to purchase online as the so called scalpers do, no different than what happens at retail.

I think it is a nation wide sale on the Armour Ups.  Also saw it at a few Superstores in BC.

Wampa Cave / Gentle Giant Jumbo Kenner Original 12
« on: July 28, 2016, 11:48:23 AM »
Hi Guys,

I am looking to collect all of the Original 12 Figures in the Gentle Giant Jumbo Format.  I am in need of Sand People, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, C-3PO, R2-D2, and Ben Kenobi.   I am opening them so loose figures are fine.   Send me a message if you have or know of any of these available, the cheaper the better.

I found the new Sidon Ithano and First Mate Quiggold at my local Walmart!!  I was pretty stoked because I always love to get new aliens!.  Only one pack on the shelf no other new packs.

I would be quite happy if the Saga movies end at ep IX.  As mentioned it will be tiresome if they keep rehashing the same themes.  There is so much to explore with spinoff movies, that with these alone you could make movies virtually for ever.   Old republic trilogy,  different time periods,  life on various planets, etc etc.. The list is never ending.    I think ending the Skywalker saga after Ep IX make sense and will help keep things fresh moving forward.

For anyone interested in the 18" Jakks figures, TRU has the New Hope 4 pack (Vader,Stormy,Tusken,Luke) on clearance for $49.99.   They also have buy one get one half off all clearance.  So I was able to pick up a set for myself and another trooper for $37.50 each.  Pretty good deal considering it works out cheaper per figure than the 3 3/4" figs.  The regular price was $100 which I knew was way too high.  I remember in the fall thinking if I could get this set for $70 I would be happy.    I actually like these figures, much better quality and detail than the shampoo bottle 12".

Are you saying we are slaves to the Disney Empire?

I have to admit I absolutely LOVED the movie.  The main thing for me was that it felt like an OT Star Wars movie.  Sure it can be argued that it is a New Hope 2.0.  But really does it matter?  For me I was thoroughly entertained and riveted to the screen while watching.  I understand where it has its weaknesses but could honestly care less.  For just over 2 hours, I was back experiencing the world that I fell in love with as a child.  No other movie has brought back those emotions to that degree since ROTJ.  I look forward to what the future of Star Wars will bring!!! :)

Thanks Jim, glad I don't have to read that anymore.  It was getting tiresome....

The Force Awakens (2015-2016) / Re: TFA Armour Up Figures
« on: September 09, 2015, 04:48:25 PM »
How is it that you are paying an extra $5.00 for these armour up figures.  You get a build weapon piece with the basic figures, a piece of armour with the armour up.  The plastic pieces in both cases are very similar in size?  So what is the extra $5.00 for?  The larger box? :sign0065:

Wampa Cave / Re: Force Friday Midnight Madness

Toys r us has released the the Force Friday locations.  Its odd that a few provinces aren't even represented.   Oh well my home Toys r us is on the list.   :D but still unsure if I will go.  May order online instead at 12:01 eastern time.

Thanks guys.
Thanks Sinkie,  I'm friends with Adam and Dave over at RS.   $42.99 ouch.

$43! I could almost buy my own ship for that much!  :winking0071:

This is why I have my doubts now that I'll be buying much come September... not with SA 3.75" figures at $14+tax and 5POA at $8+tax. The whole midnight madness promotion probably will have a banner that says "Show up at midnight and get gouged feel the Force"

Congrats on being the first to get some TFA product...  in fact, wasn't it Canada that also got the BMF first?  Maybe the Falcon is just meant to come out in Canada first every time.  :rollfloorlaffsmiley:

Thanks,  if you look at the newest post on RS, the Walmart tags,  it looks as though the 5 poa will be $9.92 each.  :speechless-smiley-004:
