So is this Snowtrooper actually a concept art figure rather than a movie figure?

The Last Jedi (2017-2018) / Re: Finn & Phasma two pack

It's good to hear that C'ai has been spotted here. Has anyone seen the Flametrooper yet in person? I'm wondering if the Flametrooper and Emperor wave will still be coming or if it has been scrapped? I'm most doubtful about the two pack actually showing up here in any great numbers if at all, mainly due to so many of the first wave of two packs still hanging around. I like that Finn, so I may have to break down and pre order it.

Galactic Hunter seems to be indicating that this set, along with the new Flametrooper and C'ai will not be coming to retail in the US but will be exclusives to Entertainment Earth. Here's the link:
Do we know if this is the case here in Canada? I know that some people here have already found C'ai in stores.

Star Wars Movies & TV shows / Re: STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII - THE LAST JEDI

At my first viewing, I was disappointed, after my second viewing I liked it a lot better. I really don't get why people would be angry about the movie though. Yes, there were some odd things in there, but it is just a fantasy movie. No injustice was done to any real people, apart from maybe spending a little money on a movie that they didn't like. I think a big part of the problem is many people live a life of relative ease and have a feeling of entitlement. When things are not going perfectly their way, even in areas that affect their real life in no way whatsoever, they get angry and look for someone to blame. Anyway, I'm glad that the reviews are a lot more level headed at Snowtroopers, and by the way, I thought Rose was one of the best parts of the movie!

After seeing the movie last night, I agree with a lot of the comments here. This movie was a big let down in so many ways: plot, lack of character development (especially Snoke),  visuals, and classic characters acting out of character. It seems like this movie chose to ignore much of what came before. I really am wishing George Lucas either hadn't sold or at least that Disney had used his scripts. My dissatisfaction might just be because I have been a Star Wars fan for such a long time and the modern vision for Star Wars is moving beyond the old fans. I like to be able to go to a Star Wars movie and come out thinking it was fun. This did not happen with The Last Jedi.

I'm actually conflicted about this. I like stories to have an end and I can't keep collecting forever. Chances are they will probably lure me in by the time the new movies and tv show come out though.

Picked up the Emperor, Royal Guard and Luke 5POA set at Canadian Tire today. My store had about 8 or 9 of them.

Other Star Wars Toys & Collectibles / Disney Star Wars Toybox figures
« on: November 03, 2017, 02:19:13 PM »
Is anyone going to be picking these up? There are no Disney Stores in my province and I have never ordered from the online Disney Store, so I'm not sure how high their shipping costs would be. I may have to check it out though as these do look pretty cool. If anyone does see these in a Canadian Disney store, I'm curious as to what they are charging for them here. I'm also looking forward to hearing a review if anyone has them in hand!

The Toys - Snowtrooper Reviews! / Re: Force Link

Just wondering, are people actually finding these in stores? At least where I live, Force Friday brought only very minimal product to Wal-Mart and Toys R Us, and nothing to the Superstore.
If anyone does have this, have you noticed if there is any difference between the pack in Kylo Ren and the single carded one apart from the different head?

I'm glad there is a playset for those who have been asking for one. Seems like a pretty steep price for something that's part of the value figure line. I do really want Snoke though, so I hope there's another way to get him.

Interesting, but not totally surprising. I have 5 kids, and none of them play with toys like my brother and I used to. With all sorts of entertainment options today online, things are bound to get tougher for toy companies. As someone who likes toys, I hope things get better, but I doubt that toy companies will ever be able to sell as much as they used to.

Found some Rogue One 3.75" 5POA (remember when we could just say figures) Wave 4 today.  Picked up a set with another on the pegs.  Check locals.
Nice! If nobody takes the other set, and you don't mind shipping, I'd be happy to take them!

Is anyone here familiar with this store in Quebec?  It looks like there is quite a bit of interesting stuff there. I see the wave 4 Rogue One figures listed, but no price.

I recently purchased some figures from jjreason and the entire transaction went perfectly. Thank you for helping me out!
