I love Transformers, especially G1. And when I was growing up Soundwave was the best! I loved Ravage aswell. I never owned a Ravage when I was a kid but now I get to build one.
This is what I have so far.
The shoulder template still needs some work on it, but I just spent over an hour on it so I am taking a break.

Off Topic / Just had some of my tibia removed.
« on: January 23, 2012, 09:25:50 AM »
Well last thursday I had some of my tibia removed, The Doctor wanted to do this in the hopes that it will prolong me haveing to have a partial knee replacement and in the long run prolong a total knee replacement. He is hoping this will give me another 10 years. Still in a lot of pain but I am doing good. Once this heels I will be getting the right one done aswell.
Pics below....

I counted 32 staples.

My kids wanted to see the staples, and I for one believe that they need to learn about things like this. I mean if they are truely interested and I say know, whos to say I could be standing in the way of a future doctor or something. I just love my little girls face in this pic.

Off Topic / Just had my first of two carpal tunnel operations.
« on: December 09, 2011, 08:44:19 AM »

Finally got my cast off a few days ago. Now apparently 4 weeks of resting, followed by light lifting for another 4 weeks then in 8 weeks time I can get back to normal.

looks like 2012 is going to be a fun year for me. In the new year I am having my left hand done, then once that heels I am penciled in for around March to have the first operation on my leg, they have decided they are going to try and give the knee move room to move by removing an inch and half chunk of bone out of my tibia just behind the knee, they are doing my left leg first once that heels (which apparently will take a few months as I will have to be on crutches) they will then do my right leg. So all in all I will layed up in one way or another for most of 2012. But atleast with the leg operations I will have a great excuse to sit down and work on some foam builds, Also plan on using the time to try and finish my book. I hope to get back into some light building over the Christmas holidays (maybe) I can't grip very well at the moment and don't want to risk slipping with a knife lol. Plus I was told by the specialist that I have been over doing it while I had the cast on, sure I had to go cut a Christmas tree down and stuff but I thought I was taking it easy (kinda). But my hands are my life I have to follow doctors orders.

Feedback O-T / Snoudzy
« on: March 29, 2011, 10:35:33 AM »
I love this part, Being able to start a feedback thread for someone is always great.
This guy has to be one of the best I have ever traded with. His communication is perfect and his sales manner is amazing. I only wish he was selling more stuff so I could deal with him again.

Wampa Cave / cheap display case.
« on: March 10, 2011, 10:09:03 PM »
I got sick of having to dust my stuff, so I decided to look for some display cases, nothing great just something to cover my stuff up so I didn't have to dust small pieces anymore. After looking around I realised most were out of my small budget, then I noticed someone in my town was sellng a nice size fish tank. I toom a look at it (it was pretty dirty) but the dirt seemed to be just surface dirt. SO after spending $10 and adding some elbow greases I finaly got my first display case. My wife was a little unsure about what I was doing at first but nw she wants me to keep an eye out for other second hand fish tanks, Guess she is sick of me complainging about having to dust my toys aswell.
I know most of you guys have probably already discovered the great use of fish tanks, but this was new to me and just wanted to share my joy.
