Brinn, your signature, what website does the letters come from, a friend of mine gave me my name like that to print on a jersey, but can't find the site anywhere.

Go here my friend and type in whatever you want:

You will get it rendered in the old Topps/O-Pee-Chee ESB letterised stickers like my signature.  If you don't like the render, re-type and hit enter again and it will render out differently.  Enjoy!  :)

Wampa Cave / Wedge's Red 2 X-Wing
« on: September 12, 2010, 02:51:57 PM »
Hey all!  Just wanted to give my two cents.  FINALLY bought this excellent vehicle from Zellers on sale, and quickly noticed that there were no decals in the cockpit!  So I took a pic of the stickers in the Luke X-Wing cockpit and made my own stickers for the Wedge X-Wing, and for continuity's sake, I printed an extra set for Red leader's X-wing.  Here's the end result:

Now, I had heard that the Wedge X-Wing had a altered cockpit, with the seat leaning further back and the lack of the storage compartment from the past X-Wing releases, but quickly realised the cockpit was only assembled wrong.  This time they assembled the cockpit with the seat pivoted into the storage area, instead of against it.  Wedge basically is laying down into it:

So I quickly took the Wedge X-Wing apart and moved the seat forward the way its supposed to be:

The end result, all the seats and X-Wing fighters are the same:

The Wedge figure is a really tight fit now so I wonder if they did this deliberately to accommodate him?  Either way I got him to fit!  :)  Now I need another set of X-Wing storage containers ETC to put into the storage area!  ;D  Anyone have any extras they don't want anymore?

If anyone wants to print their own stickers for their Wedge X-Wing dashboard and cockpit here is the image I made:

Wampa Cave / RIP Al Williamson
« on: June 14, 2010, 12:09:14 PM »
One of the Star Wars comic art greats has passed.

For all you comic fans out there, the news has gone out from people who were close friends to the Williamson family, that Al Williamson... has passed away. Seems he was 79 years old.

Together with Archie Goodwin, Al Williamson drew my favourite Star Wars comics. I loved how everything looked right. I discovered his Star Wars comics as a kid, and then discovered his earlier work on Flash Gordon and Agent X-9. He also adapted the comics for The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Blade Runner and the 80's Flash Gordon.

He was AWESOME and will be missed!
