"Over the past week I've been receiving a double does of e-mails regarding Dimension Extreme's Inside (review), which is now available at all retailers and Blockbusters nationwide. For every glowing e-mail from a reader who agreed with my review, there was one who didn't. The amount of e-mails that I received was pretty perplexing and out of the norm, which had me scratching my head - until today. We discovered that Blockbuster Video has censored the release of the French slasher film cutting a whopping seven minutes of blood and guts out of the film! So all of you haters who rented the film at Blockbuster, drop me a line because I am quite curious to see how bad it was demolished. Dimenson has an exclusive deal with Blockbuster, which sucks because Dimension Extreme is going to have plenty of unrated titles released through it. Screw you Blockbuster, I'm 28-years-old and don't need you to tell me what I can or can't watch. Man I'm FURIOUS. What do you guys think? I'm going to hit up Blockbuster today and go take a look."

Gave up this crappy chain of stores years ago and why I never went back.

Off Topic / New Tax???????
« on: April 08, 2007, 12:01:57 AM »
I found this on another board I go to. Don't know how valid it is, but you never know:

"BEWARE OF THE DST (TAX) LEVY

So not only do we have PST and GST we now have DST as well on our bills being charged by many places. There are some restaurants and motels charging this DST (tax) Levy especially in the area of Niagara Falls and out West as well.
The DST is a 3% extra charge on your bill and the establishment that is charging this on your bills for profit and does whatever they want with it. It is not a government tax. But Establishments have been given permission to add it on to unsuspecting peoples receipts ,, it is also not a charge that establishments advertise. They do not have to ask you if you want to pay it or tell you they are charging it!!!

However the DST is a ĎVOLUNTARY LEVYí so if you find it on your bill you DO NOT HAVE TO PAY IT. Just tell the establishment you do not wish to pay the DST Levy and they will deduct it from your bill.

My daughter went to Niagara Falls not to long ago and after hearing about this DST Levy yesterday she checked her bill and sure enough there it was $4.00 extra on her bill!!!

What a sneaky way to rip people off as if things arenít expensive enough!!
The thing is that most of the time you donít even know it is on your bill until you get home and check ,, but by then itís to late the establishment has your money in there hands and you didnít even know you volunteered to pay $4.00 extra.

Make sure you check your bill before paying it.

Name withheld"

Off Topic / Theme Parties
« on: March 12, 2007, 06:51:13 PM »
Ok guys, The wife and I are known to throw a few parties from time to time and we have started to go with theme parties. Now her is the issue we've run out of ideas. We would like some ideas from everyone out here. We've gone through Wild T-Shirt party's, halloween parties and just recently a very successfull 70's party. Now we need a few more ideas. Now we have thought of:
Wig Party
Toga Party
Hawaiian Party
Masquerade Party
Rock Star Party
Rocky Horror Party
Pimp and Ho Party

But we need additional ideas. The ideas should be cheap and easy to do.
Lets see what we can come up with. Now I haven't forgot about the most obvious one a Star Wars Party, not all of my friends and family are Star Wars fans.

Off Topic / Christmas Eve traditions
« on: December 24, 2006, 09:20:10 AM »
Whats everyones Christmas Eve traditions???

At our house we usually have my Sister in Law over with her two kids and we all sit around having some Xmas cheer and order KFC. Then later on we watch the old  Christmas T.V. shows, for a few hours. Check the internet to find out what part of the world Santa is at. Sing what seems like a million Christmas carols.

This has been our tradition for about 10 years.

Computer Talk / New Internet Explorer 7.0........
« on: November 12, 2006, 09:28:15 AM »
Just finished formatting my computer and when I did the 2 hours of updating all my software I realized that I also received the new version of IE. It's a little different interface, but I think I like it. Also received the new Media Player 11. This is a kool upgrade it had the media server built right into it so I don't need any other software to run my D-Link media player in the basement.

The Toys - Snowtrooper Reviews! / Saga Boba Fett
« on: December 03, 2005, 10:21:41 AM »
Well this figure looks great in the packaging.
I opened one and I regret every minute of it.
The joints are very loose almost like they have been played with for a while. They are so bad you cant even pose him properly. This figure looks great but I'm glad that I bought an extra one that I'll leave in the package

« on: November 30, 2005, 01:42:06 PM »
I'm not a huge fan of McFarlanes quality of their toys, but this looks interesting. http://www.spawn.com/news/news2.aspx?id=12737

I heard that the second one is going to be Guns n Roses Appetite for Destruction

I think Pink Floyds The Wall would be an awesome addition
