The Black Series (2013-2018) / Re: 6" black series Chewbacca?
« on: December 22, 2014, 08:01:26 PM »
got one from a local comic shop, don't really do star wars anymore but my buddy and I both bought one immediately after seeing it, was $30 but that's not bad considering I have spent under $100 on star wars toys this year! Pretty rad figure, but I am not getting sucked in.

I pop in every 6 months or so, too bad about the closing, hope that your health improves. I went to the shop the last time I was in Montreal, it was a very cool store.

I would look for an old Han Solo Blaster or something like that, I wouldn't think that they would be too expensive?

Off Topic / Re: Cool Value Village or Salvation Army finds?
« on: April 04, 2011, 03:29:34 AM »
Just the other day I stopped into Value Village and having a quick scan of the toy isle I saw something that caught my eye, I had a legoland castle 6080 "box" in my hands. I had this set as a kid so I was very excited..... now the contents..... There was 15 lego flat surface roads etc, a few randon lego knight parts/weapons and the castle instructions. I have seen those road surfaces for $12 - $15 a piece so it was still a great find for $5.99

Wampa Cave / Seasons Greetings, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

hey snowtroopers

I have not been around the forums much in the past year, year and a half, just wanted to say hi to everyone. I would also like to say that I could not resist buying the new gamorrean guard. It really is impressive and think that it belongs in my top 5 start wars figues! It is an exciting time for star wars collectors as they are really making some top notch sculpts and vehicles. I am not much of a star wars collector anymore having sold and traded so much of it away. I still buy the odd figure/vehicles for the kids and really hope they get half the joy I have over the years. I am still collecting but mostly marvel figures of my favorite characters, and still customize when I get spare time.  I hope that everyone gets some star wars goodies for christmas, love reading the star wars reports on boxing day of the awesome sw gifts we receive. Happy Holidays Snowtroopers

I rememeber the christmas I got all the figures minus the death star trooper, I dropped a couple of the jawa's in the holes for the pegs of my big wheel's seat (wanted a green machine), as far as the movie goes, i saw it when it opened, i was shell shocked as my family puts it.

hey troopers, Happy New Year

Well, we just moved again, I don't recommend anyone moving between Christmas and New Years BTW. So we are starting the new year in a new pad, so it's a New Year for sure. Anyone going to keep track of the Star Wars Merch that they spend this year? I tried this in the past and it was very unsucessful. I know that if I see the wack of those new spacetroopers, I am buying them but I have decided to bear down this year on my toy runs heavily.
