Just checked my Mastercard online statement and saw a credit to my account from the website. After checking my account with them, it appears that the remote control 3 3/4" "weathered" R2-D2s are in stock and shipping any day now. :r2d2line:

Do these have a softgoods vest/poncho-ish thing? It's kinda hard to tell from the pics that Mini-myte posted and I can seem to find other pics.

Sooooo looking forward to getting this. We better get them out here in the west as well.

Yes, the band does have soft good tunics on. Also of note, their instruments have been repainted to reflect their look in the movie.

General Yoda is correct. Check it out.

Just got back from NY state yesterday. Target had the newly re-packaged Unleashed Grievous and Boba Fett on clearance ($9.98 each). Sweet deal. They also had the Titanium "Lava Reflection" Vader on clearance as well ($7.98 each). Wal-Mart had tons of Unleashed Lukes and Vaders, but they were at full price ($19.98 each). Check Ottawa forums for more info.

Here in Ottawa, I got a call at work from my wife saying that my George Lucas in Stormtrooper disguise had arrived in our mail box from Hasbro Canada. So keep an eye out people, they're shipping!

Ok, I've put in a thumbnail instead of a link. Are you guys able to see the image now? Let me know if there is a problem. As for the US costs, they were $5.88 US at Wal-mart and $6.99 US at Target.

Hasbro should've just made the backdrops as inserts and that way, they could still print up the Canadian cards (with the requisite bilingual text) and insert the photo backgrounds in. Of course why do that when they probably know avid collectors will end up buying both the starburst and photo cards to be complete? Makes more financial sense to do it the way they are doing it right now... they sell more.

Hey mini-myte, I clicked on the link but the image was already gone for some reason...

Link still works. I just checked it out.

Well I crossed the border with a buddy yesterday in search of Saga 2 figures with the photo backdrop cards as well as any leftover ROTS figures.  :r2d2line:

As far as ROTS figures went, 0, zilch, nada!  :( Not a single one anywhere to be found. What a bummer.

I did manage to get a whole set of the Pit of Carkoon wave with the backdrops. And yes they are so much nicer than their canadian counterparts. :winking0071:

But the surprise of the trip was the finding of the Hoth wave! :party0053: Got all 8 of 'em. These guys are extremerly nice, especially Veers and the AT-AT driver. Derlin is OK, the Power Droid has enough do-dads added to it to classify it as a new figure, Vader is a repacked 500th figure, the Snowtrooper is a repacked saga 1 figure with battle damage on the helmet, Rieekan is repacked deluxe figure with a blaster and R2-D2 is a repacked VOTC with X-wing accessories :love0030:

Check out this link. It's a chinese site, but if you scroll down far enough, you'll see carded pics of Scorch, Sora Bulq, Utapau Clone Trooper, Poggle and Sun Fac. :winking0071:

Here's a funny story. We were at the 3rd Wal-mart on our secret toy run when I spotted the Unleashed Battle packs (wave 1). I convinced my friend to get a set for the Comic Book Shoppe. As I was searching for a better packaged Utapau trooper set I noticed the corner of the Bail Organa / Leia card hidden behind a Darth Vader voice changer helmet and about 3 Ki-Adi Mundi action figures. Sure enough there they were along with a solitary Obi-Wan and baby Luke. I guess someone didn't do that good a stashing job on them. Thank you mysterious stranger. LOL :rollfloorlaffsmiley:

I love it when stuff that like happens to me.... i remember when I found the General Grievous Deluxe figure... it was March (before they were supposed to be out).. and it was just sitting there on a shelf at Billings Zellers.. i was like wtf?? Well I gotta buy it, I said to myself.. and in the process left the Peter Jackson as a Hobbit figure.. man it was soo hard to choose..

Nonetheless, good haul.... i guess like all the Walmart Exclusives.. Canada isnt getting them.. I should get in contact with my friends in the States.. she is still on the lookout for an Utapau Shadow Trooper and the Sep of the Twins for me..... i dont need a Shadow Trooper anymore tho.. thank god...

BTW.. how much were the Sep of the Twins at retail in the U.S. ?? I have heard conflicting reports on the price

$4.77 US each.
