Has George Lucas passed any comment on TLJ?  I know he didn't really like TFA, not sure if that's because they didn't use his ideas for it or not.

Also did anyone else notice the secret Jedi texts from the tree Yoda burned were in a drawer on the Falcon at the end (Finn opens and grabs something and you can clearly see the beige spined book)

I didn't hate it, but I'm not sure I really liked it.  There were some good scenes, but the Yoda appearance and the floating Leia scenes really annoyed me.  I also found the OJ Simpson style slow chase between the 1st Order and the Resistance Cruiser to be silly.

Usually I see each movie twice but I don't want to bother seeing TLJ again.  The audience as I left last night seemed underwhelmed also.

Hot Wheels does something similar where they black out the bubble and you can't tell what is inside.  Kind of annoying if you ask me, I want to know what I'm buying. :winking0071:

There's been a lot of announcements regarding the franchise since Mickey bought it so maybe this is a re-hash of a previous one, but just in case it isn't:

ABC in talks to develop TV shows based on 'Star Wars' characters

 Sun Aug 4, 2013 3:17pm EDT

Aug 4 (Reuters) - ABC television executives are talking with George Lucas' Lucasfilm studio about making TV shows based on characters developed by the studio that created the "Star Wars" franchise, according to the president of Disney's ABC Entertainment Group.

"We've started conversations with them," Paul Lee told a gathering of TV critics meeting Sunday in Beverly Hills. "I have an inkling in my mind, but they have a lot on their plate."

Disney bought Lucasfilm in October for $4.1 billion and has said it intends to make a seventh "Star Wars" film in 2015 and a new one every two or three years thereafter.

This autumn, ABC will begin airing "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," it's first network program based on Marvel comic book characters since Disney paid $4.2 billion to buy the comic book and film studio in 2009.

Bummer, saw this on Yahoo! news.  There were some lame episodes, but overall the 10 year old in me still liked it.

Maybe it's a realistic version?  He's rolling his eye at his lousy dialogue in the movies.

The 6" figures look good, but I think I may have had enough of the main characters regardless of scale.  Rebelscum says the line will be focused on fan favorites and main charcters not many tertiary or secondary characters (but I'd call the Sandtrooper a tertiary character so....).  Line is supposed to be 75% OT and 25% PT so at least they understand OT is preferred by collectors.

Looks pretty good, but I'll wait until I see more pics of the final product.

I would point out that the "firing" of the popular Dan Curto rubbed a lot of people the wrong way too, especially after all his years of running the photo archive.
