Still collecting - mainly vintage style figures.  I am dumping all my McFarlane sports figures if you are interested.

What do you have NHL, NFL? Any Collector Levels or do you have the early stuff, before Collector Levels?

My toy collecting has really tapered off. I'm basically only interested in "most" Hasbro stuff relating to the Original Trilogy - but I certainly don't feel the need to track down every item like I was before. Honestly, it was bit of a relief to taper things back, financially especially.

I can understand that. Seen alot of the longtime collectors get completely out of McFarlane Sports Figures or have really scalled back their collections and what they buy now. For myself, I only buy and collect teams I like or if I like the pose of a player I normally wouldn't buy. If i'm lucky enough to find a decent variant/Collector Level for trade, will pick it up, otherwise I just leave it. Trading these days is not what it was once, as it's very difficult to make deals nowadays. Not sure if it's like that for Star Wars. Last time I bought anything from SW was the last movie [ROTS]. I've bought a few Vintage figures since that time, but that's it.

I wasn't sure if many of you guys were still around, but I see some familar names. What's new in Star Wars Collecting? As for what i've been up to, still collecting Sports Figures. I'd like to think i'm back and not just stopping by. This was the first place for me. Really miss coming here and talking to you guys.

Thanks jjreason. How is the collecting going? You still into Sports Figures at all?

I see jjreason is still around.

I found 3 Oilers Cujos here in Cambridge (equal numbers with the Coyotes version) - and managed to pass on them just because there was so many. Seems like a VERY common variant, from what I'm reading.

Oilers Cujo isn't a variant at all. Mcfarlane did a 50/50 split of Oilers Cujo and Coyotes Cujo. Both are plentiful.

Just back from Wally and scored 2 Naslund retros  :)

Hilarious. I get to the toys and see a few figs on the very top shelf, so I walk to the end of the isle and see 2 employees unloading cases and putting them on the shelf. There's some Naslund's on the shelf already, so I look through them and find one retro. I wait abit while they're putting out the rest of the figs and I see another Nazzy retro, which I scoop. They were still putting figs on the shelf as I left, so i'm not sure if there were anymore Nazzy retros. Just as i'm about to leave abunch of people showed up. I noticed a few guys grabbed Cujo Oilers probably thinking their variants as the Cujo Coyotes is pictured on the back. As i'm heading to my car who do I see pull into the parking lot but the biggest scalper in town. He's too late. lol.

This is the first time EVER i've actually been at Wally while employees are putting SP's on the shelf.
