Star Wars Movies & TV shows / Re: STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII - THE LAST JEDI
« on: January 24, 2017, 07:26:31 AM »
I'm kind of disappointed with this title.  I would have expected Jedi or Sith to appear in the final (episode 9) title to keep with the continuity of the previous films.  Without knowing what the film is about, something like "The First Order Rises" or something else ominous would have made sense for the second in a trilogy of SW films.

Will do.  But I can't remember seeing him anywhere in ages.  I'll keep my eyes open and tell my spies to do the same...

I've seen a couple of falcons, Lokis, Venoms, Ultron, more than a few of the Civil War playset.  If you're looking for anything in particular, send me a list and I'll keep my eye out.

Walmart has reduced their remaining Infinity Figures.  2.0 are $3.80(ish) and 3.0 are $4.80(ish).  3.0 starter packs are down to $30 for all platforms.

I picked up the Walmart Exclusive light up Luke Skywalker which had been priced at $18 up till now.

I picked one up today at Costco for $21.  It's actually bigger than I expected (in page count, not size.  All DK books are seemingly the same size.  I've only skimmed through it, but I see what you mean about characters that will never be realized as figures (unless it's a fans choice or some impossible to get in Canada exclusive).

Can't wait to sit down on a Sunday and read it.

Walmart exclusive Saw Gerrara is now at Walmarts in the GTA along with a slew of other previous releases.  Have seen them on both the cardboard skid displays and on regular shelving.  Looks to be 4 per store.  The unmasked Kylo Ren was also in the mix.

Toys R Us will match other Canadian online retailer prices (item must be in stock) when shown on your mobile device.  Walmart may do the same.

Scout Report / Re: Walmart Clearance on TFA product
« on: November 26, 2016, 08:14:31 AM »
For those who can't wait for it to be shipped, if it shows in stock online and you can take that on a device (your phone) to TRU, they should price match it.

I did this last night at TRU.  I just to the R Zone and purchased it there.  No line surprisingly.  With my $10 gift card I was out of pocket $45.  Best deal of the season.

Since the switch to the black box package with the diagonal cut window I haven't bought a single one (in either size actually).  I keep my stuff imprisoned in their package and have never liked the look of them.  The TIE pilot package was the last of the line for me.  The price jump only helped me decided to quit the line.

Stupid idea, but if only one of the Tonnika sisters didn't sign the release, couldn't they just make a "left Tonnika sister" figure?  Since their twins, people would then just buy two of the same character and voila...

The question got asked more than once, and during times when Hasbro really listened and took the time to explain (that's years ago), and if I remember correctly they said they would want to release both or none at all.

And the thing is, they're not twins. In fact, they do not look alike at all. One is taller, their faces and traits are different...

I stand corrected.  It's been a while since I've watch A New Hope.  I know what I'm doing tonight!!
