No kidding. I was completely flabbergasted until the scene revealed itself for what it was. Great cold open to get the reader hooked, I must say. I'm about halfway through at this point, and although there has been a bit of seasoning added in the form of extra dialogue, nothing groundbreaking has taken place.

I spoke to my investments person - they advised me I have exactly $11.26 to throw toward the cause!  :party0007:

I did - got him on clearance at my local eb for a deep discount as the outer carton was obliterated. Happy to see some others might get a similar chance.

We should be ok in here - good thinking though.

I gave up just over halfway. That rarely happens to me, but honestly paint drying is way more stimulating.  :indifferent0020:

Got my copy today - it's actually called the "expanded edition" even though we never got a plain one. It starts off with 2 scenes that aren't in the movie and that's as far as I've gotten so far.... and I've read about some significant additions explaining the feelings (or lack thereof, don't want to spoil anything) developing between Rey & Kylo Ren.

I'm guessing the offer wouldn't even be enough to back a barge.  :P

I still need to see Spider-Man and Thor.

The first one I missed was Civil War, which made it easier to keep waiting for home release to see them. I wasn't blown away at all by Dr. Strange OR Guardians 2.

That being said, you REALLY need to sit & watch those two (Thor3 & Spidey) - they're both near the top of the Marvel heap.

I'm with you, CF. I think someone will buy them out & it will continue "business as usual" up here.

Sounds like there is reason to be hopeful. This analysis has charts I tell you, and who can argue with that???

Are they factory seconds again or do they actually look ok?

I really liked the sister. Funny & cool - likes like she will appear with T'Challa his Dora Milaje bodyguards in the Thanos movie.  :party0053:

Finally saw it tonight. I'm not tired of Marvel just yet, as a matter of fact my excitement is at a fever pitch with Thanos (Avengers 3 - Infinity War) right around the corner.

This was a very good entry, though I would suggest it got a little over the top toward the end - certainly not the first time Marvel has pushed my suspension of belief abilities near, to, and past the breaking point. It looked cool though - awesome sets & costumes all the way through. I also like to see which vehicles are used & the Lexus looked very nice in this one.

As per usual, it was worth the few minutes extra to stick around to the very very end to see the extra scene.

The old 4 issue comic series was pretty good. They let the fans actually vote as to who would win the marquee matchups and yes, Supes beat the Hulk & Bats beat Cap - but they wrote & drew them really well to make it a toss up until the very end.

Never say never when it comes to the movies - money runs the world & they'd make lots on something like that.
