Just picked up some Shadow Troopers and a Tatooine Sandtrooper from CRToys.  Cool guy and the prices are very descent.  He's also getting the Carnor Jax and Kir Kanos two packs so I don't even have to order them online! Woohoo!  Now I don't need to keep reading about you guys back east going to a store and finding stuff at reasonable prices that is impossible to find at TRU!

No, I cut and pasted the actual link to that says that the offer is relaxed in the US so it was a question specific to that link.

I have emailed them again though to clarify that they didn't misunderstand my question though.  I'll let you guys know once they respond.

Hey everyone, just got this message from Hasbro Canada:

Hello Calvin,

The promotion is valid in Canada as well as in the United States. You do have to return the order form included in the Luke Skywalker X-Wing Fighter along with the proof of purchase (foil stickers) of all 5 figures mentioned on the order form in order to get the George Lucas figure. Copies will not be accepted for this promotion.

BountyHunter69 got all those down south, not in Canada.

He truly believes that.  It's his empire now.  There's no war as long as everyone listens to him.  In a way, he did bring peace, but just not the type of peace you expected.  In the OTC, his idea was to destroy all the rebels and instill fear in the galaxy so none will defy him, hence bringing peace and order.

The Scout Walker just barely fit into the box.  I had to lock it into the lowest position.  If you're looking at the box straight on though, you can't see the top hatch.  I took the picture from a slightly lower angle looking up.

Here's how I displayed my little Endor scene.

Haven't seen any here in BC.  I was there yesterday, so unless they came today...

I asked someone in Washington State to look for one for me cause he's coming up on Saturday, so I'm waiting to see if he can get it for me first before I go running to Toys R Us cause I think it would be cheaper getting it from him if he finds it.

Actually, that Toys R Us just got more Snowspeeders in.  They have 5 left right now.  Guess this is looking good for us in terms of exclusives.

We got a limited supply of them in the Toys R Us in Burnaby B.C., so they did show up here in the west.  Think they lasted about 1 day before they all got sold out.  Like I said earlier, when I got there, they had 3 left (including the one I bought).  Went back the next day and they were all gone.  Guess I'm lucky.

They went fast in my neighborhood.  Read about it on Rebelscum on Thursday so I popped over and grabbed one.  Today, was there again and they were all gone.  Of course, when I got mine, there were only two left after.

Wampa Cave / Re: Commemorative Tin Multipacks... disappointing?

I will pass on the first 3 sets, but will definitely get at least one of each of the last three cause I don't have any Hoth figures and Biker Scouts are my favourite Imperial troopers so I gotta get me at least one, most likely two.

You mean Mace Windu?  haha

I sure hope the Darth Vader Starfighter comes out here though.  Hopefully it won't be overpriced either.  I don't know what's with TRU sometimes...a G.I.Joe item that I wanted was $19.99US but it's $34.99CDN here!...I'm like WTF!!!  Luckily for me, I have a friend down south who gets most of my stuff for me.  I'm actually saving money still by getting him to buy for me and mailing it for me.  He was getting me basic figures and with shipping and everything, it worked out to $8CDN a figure!  Then there's the gripe with Canadapost.  Someone sent me something from the US and the postage on it was $6US.  I took that item and resent it to someone in Canada and it was like $15CDN!  So, not only are our toys more expensive, if we ever want to sell stuff on Ebay, we can't compete cause are darned shipping prices are so darn high!...oops...think I'm threadjacking and rambling on...

Well...let's just say, I hope it comes to Canada, but if they don't, I still have another way of getting it.

Yeah, you can't get a shipping quote within Canada unless you got a postal code.  Frustrating sometimes when i'm selling.

What I usually do is I ask them and if they give me an outrageous quote, I will ask if they will refund me the difference if they way overquoted.  Most are quite good with it.
