Wampa Cave / Sideshow Collecting
« on: December 16, 2013, 09:24:20 AM »

I am looking for advice on purchasing a Sideshow Hoth Luke and Tauntaun.   I have never purchased from Sideshow and was wondering what was the best way to order from them?  Direct or is there a better way to get them at a lower price?  Do they have a membership, that give you a discounted price like GG?  Is the a Hoth Luke and Tauntaun a good SS product?

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Star Wars Movies & TV shows / Star Wars Episode 7 Story Line Guesses
« on: July 29, 2013, 02:18:10 PM »
I was wondering what everyone thinks or would like to see in the next movie?

I would really like to see Luke become Darth Lucas.  Mark Hamill can really play a bad guy well.  They showed a clip of him in a bad guy role at Celebration VI and I was scared of him.

I would like to see Han Solo killed off.  And from what I read so would Harrison Ford, so I am guessing that will happen for sure.  Carrie will want to die with him, but she will want to get in a few good jokes before she is killed off.

R2D2 and C3P0 will continue on as characters.

Just some ideas.

« on: August 22, 2012, 06:27:44 PM »
Thought I start a thread for us who are at the show to update you on what is going down here at Celebration VI.   It is Wednesday night.  We just got our four day badges and toured the convention centre.  Saw a full size Snowspeeder inside the exhibitor hall and outside their was probably a 1/5 size ATAT, a few banners etc., a big giant blow Death Star over the main entrance and lots of Star Wars fans.  Got my program. Just going to read through it now.

Other Movies - Music - TV Entertainment / Battleship
« on: May 27, 2012, 08:47:09 PM »
Went with the family today to see it and we all loved it.  They even managed to fit in a real life game board play. E22 hit etc.  It is a movie like The Day After, Independance Day etc that you will see on TV again again, but don't miss the opportunity to see it on the big screen.  Great popcorn movie.  The story is simple but enjoyable, the story lives up to it's title BATTLESHIP.  My nine year old son said it was better than Avengers.

Scout Report / Republic Attack Shuttle $25 at Walmart
« on: January 31, 2012, 07:42:29 PM »
The Great news is that you can purchase the Hasbro Republic Attack Shuttle for $25 from Walmart.  The bad news unless I am wrong is that you have to travel to Stoney Creek , Ontario to the Walmart at 500 Centennial Drive. Occasionally certain Walmarts get a wack load of product at a great deal.  New Walmarts are sometimes the reason and this is why I believe this Walmart got the Shuttle at a great deal. This Walmart just opened this week.  Hopefully I am wrong and they will show up at a bunch of Walmarts across Canada.  But if I am not, 905-561-7600 is their phone number.  The last report I got from my Bothan Spy was that they had just put out a skid of them with 25 on it.  Not sure how many skids there are but if you are in the area head on over and get one before they are gone.

Wampa Cave / We are JEDI 501 Thailand
« on: January 16, 2012, 01:31:59 PM »
Just recieved today my t shirt from the 501 Thailand Outpost in Bangkok.  These were the shirts you could purchase in support of flood relief for Thailand.  The shirts are 100%  cotton and black in coloir.  On the front it states FLood Relief Thailand 2011 and then in BIGGER PRINT, WE ARE JEDI. On the back it states USE THE FORCE NOW and the 501 logo for Thailand which has Darth Vader and 2 Stormstroopers.  Total cost including shipping was $29.50 US.  If you want to see a picture of the shirt go to , Steve Sansweet has one on.  There were only 1000 produced, not sure if any are left, but they are good quality and for a good cause, Japenese sizing, so if you would normally be a large, get an extra large.

I was just over at rebel scum and saw a posting for Canada on the main page that was promoting a huge discount on fx light sabers.  Reg. $45 on sale for $30.  I was wondering if anyone knew D. Martin,  and if they did we should tell him about this site so he could get the best information for posting at rebelscum.  I am not trying to beat up the guy with this topic in any way shape or form, but when I read the posting my first thought was Walmart sold them for most of Christmas season for $28.77 and now my local Superstore has them on sale for $23.99  There were bigger sales that were worth mentioning ie $10 Star Wars ships at Walmart or $29.99 including shipping and handling Republic Attack Shuttles at Costco.  Again not trying to beat the guy up, but clearly the best place to get information on Canada is and not .
