The Last Jedi (2017-???) / Re: Finn & Phasma two pack
« on: January 17, 2018, 07:22:07 AM »
I was able to buy the Bistan pack on Amazon.com before Xmas from a 3rd party. The pack itself was less than 10$. The whole thing cost less than 20$ USD with delivery to Canada. Unfortunately, it was the last one at this price.

I already got the figures and everything is in good condition.

Where ar the provincials? How can I access them?

I've updated your profile. Please scan down the list of areas from the main forum page & see if you can access the Provincial areas. The specific locations of store reports, what was found & when, should now be available.

It works ! Thanks!

At my canadian tire store they were marked down 50 percent to $17.49. And the larger 10 pack (#??) was down to $39 from $79.
I will indicate which store in provincials.

Where ar the provincials? How can I access them?

Maybe that kind of rebate depends on each CT store. The one in Ste-Dorothée, Laval, Qc, has them on sale.

Just bought the 3,75'' Force Link Emperor/Luke/ERG at Canadian Tire for 17,49$ instead of 34,99$. I also saw a lot of Baze Malbus/Stormtrooper pack for 9,99$ instead of 19,99$. They also have the 6-inch 5POA figures and Forces of Destiny dolls for sales.

It is also interesting to notice that the Force Link set that you can buy in Canada has two versions, in English or in French. Maybe this explains why it was impossible to join a Force Link with the BB-8 playset.

Walmart exclusives Star Wars The Black Series 3.75-inch figures from TFA have rollbacked to 7.97$ online. That includes the Lando/Ackbar wave.

I think it's the first time they reach that low price at Walmart.

You have also to know that in some provinces, like here in Québec, it is prohibited by law to have stores other than depanneurs (or other exceptions) to be open at midnight.

So sad right now, when I saw the pictures of the A-wing online it looked like it was a new mold but, it's not, it's the Hera one repainted.
On the back of the box they have used photo manipulation to make it look as if it is larger because when I stand the pilot next to it in the same position shown on the packaging she looks way bigger than in the picture.
I have looked at it from every angle and I'm sure they have messed with the sizes somehow.
I really feel that this is false advertising.
I've been a collector for over 26 years now and I own at least one of every vehicle released since 1995. This does not include re-releases. For example, I have the Millennium Falcon from 1995 and 2010 BMF but not the ones that came out after or in between, I only have so much room.
However,  I have looked at packaging from every other release of the same molds; I've seen them use odd angles or forced perspective to sometimes imply that a vehicle is a little larger than it actually is but nothing like this.
I just looked at the Hera A-wing packaging online, since I returned that piece of podoo about 24 hours after I bought it,  and they didn't do it for that packaging. She looks huge standing in front of her A-Wing.
Wow Hasbro/Disney if this was the same size as the 80's version I would have bought 3-4 of them...now I'm already thinking about returning the one I bought and purchasing the pilot off Ebay, when the prices drop, or just wait until clearance.

Look at this youtube video around 6:20 for a size comparison of TLJ A-Wing vs. all the previous A-Wings. It's really different from Hera's and the size is similar to the Vintage/POTF A-Wing:
