Just thought we should start a thead for ROTS finds. Like the new preview wave etc.
Anybody find any stuff yet?
The main page has news of a snowtrooper finding the preview wave at zellers for $9!

Just bought the Wookie Warrior down at the Zellers on Sparks Street Mall down in Ottawa.
They had all four Sneek Peaks, great looking cards, lava's a real image and not drawn. A bit too much tape on the packaging if you ask me, the card is glued bottom and top and taped on the sides.
As for the wookie, its very similar to VOTC chewy save for one less segment on the abdomen and the arms are articulated like VOTC Lando. Finally, the feet don't swivel.
This is a massive figure about half an inch taller than VOTC chewy but the width is unbelievable. When you do get it for yourselves, let me know if you think that the hat looks better worn backwards
Comes with removable shin pads, hat and wookie weapon, a bowcaster would have been better.
Anyways good arctic hunt.
These are way better than E2 preview, articulation is wonderful!!!

Forgot to add, Tion Medon looks like he's got curdoroy pants face or like he fell asleep on a rippled pillow and just woke up.
Very scary.
The figure also comes with a description for all four figures, Tion is said to be the administrator of the Utaupan world where Obi-wan is sent to hunt down Grievious.
Nothing else of much interest that is not known.

hey hey HL02.. great to see another Ottawa collector... but don't forget to post your finds in the Ottawa thread under the Ontario Forums too  the figures are quite nice.. but i'm not too happy about the card/bubble/etc... being a carded figure collector, it'll be tough to find these in good shape, let alone get them home after unaware cashiers dumping them in bags... the card is die cut and has lots of places for the card to bend... the bubble is taped to the back of the card (similar to the GI Joe Venom vs. Valor cards)... which for some of the figures on the shelf.. had already started peeling off... oiy the package overall is much smaller so i might be able to fit more in my storage containers.. these figs are tri-logo.. if anyone finds US cards, don't miss reporting that too! -70 |

They had about 16 figures on the peg, retract the one I bought so 15 left. They had the same number of each four figures, I went around 12hr30 so their may yet be some left in the morning. Good luck!! |

Back from my Sparks Street early morning Figure Haul 8am!!! That is a new record for me... god it was a close one too.... I was able to get all the preview figs... but there was a guy there before me, so I kinda butted my way into his to take the figures...
as of when I left, there was two GG's and one Wookiee..... cards slightly bent... these things are hard to get in good shape... and the tape on them is more to be desired....
thanks HL02 for the heads up!! You helped me alot today....

Had the four preview figures at Zellers in Pickering Town center today. There were 3-4 of each. I grabbed a Grevious and Wookie to start, as these should be abundant in the near future. I guess the shelf date is not supposed to be until Feb. 1st, but I guess Zellers doesn't pay attention to details. Oh, and they rang up at $8.97 which is a dollar more than the OTC figs were. Guess it is true the cost from Hasbro has increased. Guess we can expect this will the Ep.3 movie line.  Happy hunting! |

No Preview figs yet but I saw the new Anakin Lego Starfighter at Wally for $30 and those new (?) TIE Fighters and Snowspeeder with the black/silver trim box
