Nice early score!
As far as putting them out early, if they don't want them out, don't send them to the stores six weeks early...especially to stores where the ability to read is not required for employment. wink

I'm so jealous it isn't funny!

Could one of you lucky owners tell me about the storage area behind the medbay?  What's behind those opening doors in there?  I've been very curious about it since first seeing photos of them.  Is there a lot of space?  How many figures/accessories can you put in there?  Any molded detailing?

Dont be jelous for all I know the oakville Tru is gonna get screwed over for selling this thing so early.

In regards to your questions just follow the link. I took a bunch of pictures today of the interior. the storage room is an empty space with a ledge in it, can fit about 2 figures maybe more (havent tried) pictures should answer your questions.

I love comics. If you enjoy them too, this is worth a listen and/or quick read.

Those are some pretty sweet photo's, thanks for them.

i only have two questions for the BMF owners; how 'boxy' does the underside make the ship look (in some shots i've seen elsewhere it make the thing look rather boxy) and with the multiple landing gears, they don't look like they retract into the ship.  Are they just screwed on or do they come off or anything?  Just wondering.

i'm pretty jealous of you lucky guys, but i can wait until they are suppose be released.  i only hope that TRU gets enough so it doesn't make finding one a chore.

No problem about the pictures, I figured everyone would like to see some opened shots of this before buying based on its price.

In terms of the boxes they are not as noticable as they are in earlier pictures from Hasbro. The boxes are there for the secret compartments AND I think they added teh rest in so the landing gear would be evened out. They are really not that big of an issue. In terms of  the landing gear, they snap in place and are very easy to remove so you can "fly" this thing around lol.

If you are looking for army builders and have a US shipping addy, Hasbro toy shop has sets of 8 of the TAC stormtrooper, Legends Sandtrooper, Legends Destroyer Droid and Legends AOTC clone.  The last may be worthwhile for those looking to populate their AT-TE's when they come out.

Stormtrooper

Destroyer Droid

AOTC Clone

Sandtrooper

And no I don't know why they show 9 for the 8 pack!

Thanks Jangotat for putting the pics up.  drink

It really does look awesome. Haven't had a chance to open mine yet (Crazy Birthday weekend), but now I cannot wait. Really happy I spent the $200 now.

Also, makes me wonder who the other 2 lucky owners are of the BMF. You must have grabbed one of the 3 remaining when I left. I guess they didn't pull them. Cool. I am really glad a fellow collector grabbed one.

I just talked to someone at my TRU here (gave them the number of the receipt that was posted) to get some "history".

He said it appears the warehouse sent these out on the 9th and it appeared all TRU would be getting 4 units...nothing on whether or not there was a hold date or anything (not that I asked him for fear of tipping him off!)...he merely said call back next week and if they are in stock they'll take a name to hold one. So it would be interesting to know if there will be a TRU memo on these about not to put out for sale by then.

So, I called back and initially he said no. I pushed about being informed about when it shipped and and ETA and he then informed me that there is now a hold date posted on their system with regards to this item now...July 26. When I inquired as to a "Hold item" he had mentioned "there will be plenty" and call back 2 days before to put a name down.
