Yeah, dorky like the Lego mini-figs ::)

I collect them, but I refuse to chase the variant pieces.  Ordering direct from Japan brings them to your door for about $12 Cdn a piece.  Then you have the joy of selling off your spares.  I still have an IG-88 left lying around here somewhere.

I bought a case of the bounty hunter assortment when they first came out and sold off all the duplicate figures.  I wound up getting most of my money back so I got them for about $7.50 each but I dont think that is very typical.

I would like to see more Kubrick Star Wars figures.  Its nice to have something different to collect besides the regular action figures that never come to Canada anyways.

 ;D

I like Morgbug collect these Kubricks. I have the complete set & variants from the first series & I'm looking forward to the second series. I also have the carded Bape Luke coming to me soon!  8) Not to mention the Kubrick Early Bird gift set which is a nice nod to the vintage line!

As to a place to buy them, there cheaper to order from Japan. Hobbylink Japan (HLJ) is the way too go IMO. You get hit with customs on the merchandise but thats not a big deal to me as the cost for them is cheap.

Here's the link:  Hobbylink Japan Clicky!

Yep, I like Hobbylink.  Good store with good email communication when they are charging, shipping, etc.

Second series is available for pre-order right now (I think they still are).  Out in November, so a nice Christmas gift to oneself.  Cantina band member, sandtrooper, who else?

I'm annoyed with the early bird set.  I want one, but don't want to pay those prices.   ::)

looks like han solo, obi-wan, greedo, tusken raider for 6 in total. i'm not sure whether to begin with the kubricks - it looks like they like to put out variations. if the line ends soon it would be fun to collect but i dont want to be chasing down 100 hard-to-find-figures you know...

Yep, I know.  I've already decided against chasing the variants and carded versions.  The bad part is trying to track down the early bird set for a reasonable price.  Grrrr.

Seems Kubrick are releasing a full set of the 12-Backs carded.

Many seem to already exceed $200 each on Ebay:(

Only seen the Luke so far.

I believe only Fett and Luke are carded at this point.  I've heard no rumblings about the other original 12.  Would be an interesting homage though.

Seems Kubrick are releasing a full set of the 12-Backs carded.

News to me. As Morg mentioned, only the Luke & Boba have been released. Both were released at the Medicom Toy exhibition 2003. Though Luke is now showing up on eBay due to a Japan only exclusive release.

If you have any information on Kubrick releasing a full set of the 12 backs carded, please post these findings. It would be nice to see them done!  8)
