I have thought about switching to HD antenna & Netflix several times as well. Once our current cable deal is up, I think I will cut the cord. I don't watch anything myself anyways, it's mainly just the kids that watch it, and once they're a little older there's really nothing on TV for them anyways (do they even make cartoons anymore?) Netflix and dvds sound like a better option.

To me, the Blue Jays game broadcasting seems to be following a very short sighted strategy. Rogers complains that attendance is low at the ballpark. But maybe if more casual fans could watch even one game a week on "regular" TV, it would create greater interest in the team, and generate new fans - especially younger ones. It is obvious where Rogers gets the majority of their Jays revenue - TV advertising and subscription fees, rather than game tickets.

All that corporate crap aside though, it is nice to see the team doing well again for once, and hope things continue to go well for them!
