XP online antivirus scanner....help!!!

HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS POP UP RECENTLY....I DID A SEARCH ON GOOGLE AND IT APPEARS OTHERS HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE.....I USE FIREFOX....AND THIS IS A FIRST....IS IT LEGIT?   SCAN MY PC WITH 3 DIFFERENT PROGRAMS AND NOTHING....ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED....THX TROOPERS ???

never heard of it.  if you've done 3 different scans i think your good.  if it was a popup then i really wouldn't worry about what it says.  do a scan for spyware to.

i had it on for a while too, never requested it. popped up like a virus all the time, and started to screw with my system. had the computer in the shop and since then, never had it back

That sounds like a varent.... Could be nasty.
It does a popup on your taskbar saying that you are not protected.

I would recommend to download a software call Malwarebytes.

Also checkout a search on beepingcomputer.com

If it is a virus it can be very nasty, you may not even be able to download from some of the tech sites.  So you may have to get it from a clean computer.
