just seen the promo, another of our favorite sci fi mini series from the 80's is being redone in an all new TV series on ABC

I remember the tv show. Loved it back then. Will have to give this one a try.

I hope this is good, and doesnt ruin V.
My wife just bough V the original series on DVD the other day. Man I love the old show so much. Would be great if this new one did for it what BSG did.

The show has already been delayed a second time - I think the chances that ABC will carry this show past the existing filmed episodes are very very slim.  From the preview pics, I can't say that the special fx look any better than the original V (in fact, the new ships look pretty disappointing).

I watched the 1/2 hour preview for V the other night, it's got my interest, we will just have to see what the do with the storyline
I watched the complete original series not to long ago, although the special effects are dated , it's still more interesting to watch then some of the new shows out there
