Hasbro Q&A: Answers for Mar 19 2010

Answers... but they gave no reply to the reminder about the list we asked for last year.

Unfortunately, the only remaining Legacy/Droid Factory waves that will be
shipping into Canada are the EpV wave.  As for Clone Wars, only Wave 3 has
yet to ship.  The Comic Pack wave is likely to come in, and the three TRU
exclusives (TF packs, vintage AT-AT, and the figure/vehicle packs) will all
see Canadian distribution.

Yes, we do use comics as inspiration for vehicle deco.  However, redecos of
bigger vehicles like the AT-TE or Turbo Tank are much trickier because of
the higher price points (neither of these are slotted to come back into the
lineup).  If there is an opportunity to bring these back, we will look for
Clone Wars and other sources for inspiration.

Yeah, and it seems like a growing trend. Why couldn't Hasbro Canada have let us know of all the wave that aren't coming to Canada weeks ago? I feel like I am beating a dead horse here, but why do they wait until we ask them if we are getting a certain item? Just silly. Nice to see the Vintage AT-AT will be coming though.

I agree it totally sucks,  thats why I preorded the Expanded Universe wave from Legends.  On a positive note at least we got (or are getting) the 3 Original Trilogy Legacy waves.  I dont care as much about the prequel waves.

This is actually pretty good news. I don't give a hoot about prequel waves. If I can get the ESB wave, maybe I can trade that HK-50 build a droid for the BG-J38 build a droid from the EU wave. Any takers out there?

Also, the vintage packaged AT-AT is seemingly coming to Canada! : Thatís good news.

Also good, no more running changes!! YAY, about time! To this day I still donít have a couple running change figures dating back to the Saga line in 2002 or 2003. Iíve given up on them, since I no longer think theyíre worth the hassle, but the second ugnaught, and bespin guards are going to be a pain. No more running changes makes life easier for a lot of people.

Also, they listed a stormtrooper as coming in wave 2 of vintage. I thought it was supposed to be a sandtrooper. Wonder which is the error.

If itís a sandtrooper will it be a super articulated orange pauldron CLEAN sandtrooper. I believe we have yet to get one in that flavour. Anyone else know if we've gotten one of them yet?

Oh and another shaft btw, no clone wars wave 1:

"FN: We have yet to see The Clone Wars Wave 1 (Ayala Secura, Bly, Honda Ohnaka) from 2010 at Canadian retail although we've already had Wave 2 for some time now. Are we going to see this missing wave? Does Hasbro plan to produce every wave with Canadian packaging, or has this Ayala Secura wave been skipped like a couple previous waves seem to have been?
Hasbro: Wave 1 will not be distributed in Canada. Because of the timing, it was not possible for production of every wave for Canada."

from www.actionfigurenews.ca

Well whats the point anymore? im tired of ebay and tired of hasbro...

"Because of the timing, it was not possible for production of every wave for Canada."

That means they couldn't be bothered... because they'd rather ship too much of Wave 2 so that Wave 3 gets missed as well... :mad0137:
