As much as i want the cloud car,it's not worth 40 bucks!

It's a tough call... but when it boils down to a $5 difference I said, "What the heck, why not?" and I picked it up. It's a very innovative design and looks nice next to my vintage cloud car.

Just checked my local TRU this morning. They finally had some new stuff on the shelf - first time in months. No TVC or CW basic figures yet, but there was a couple each of the Cloud Car, Snowspeeder, Tank and Anakin's Fighter. Galactic Heroes AT-AT, and some other new packaging CW toys. I only picked up a Kul Teska though. I'm not much of a vehicle collector as I can't justify the prices, and most don't fit my shelves. I looked at the Cloud Car and Snowspeeder though, and I must say they are nice. If it wasn't for my extremely limited budget, I might have gotten one of them. Maybe if a sale comes along closer to Christmas and there's still something available... hopefully I have some more extra cash by then!

TRU has also had quite a few sales in the past 2 years, so keeping that in mind, you may be able to ultimately get the vehicles cheaper at TRU. Walmart pretty much never puts their stuff "on sale". The only times seem to have been to compete with TRUs sales or when they clear things out.
It's just two different business models. Sometimes you get a better deal at one, and sometimes the other.

TRU has really done good by us collectors the past couple years.

I concur. Toys R Us has definitely been easier on my wallet than WalMart if I compare the amount of merchandise I've bought at each outlet. I don't think I paid full price for a figure once last year at TRU which probably saved me a couple hundred bucks.

Fett1 reported a few moths back that Costco would have the AT-AT closer to the Fall, price was around $93 I think. Turbo Tank was the same price last year at Costco as well. So if that is some sort of indication then I'm guessing TRU will be $120? Not too sure about Walmart though. They should be out at TRU and Walmart pretty soon though, I would think. Since tomorrow is the 6th and that is "The Big Day".

Going on a report I read in a local forum about Loblaws mispricing, I stopped at a local Superstore to see if the mistake was there also.  Sure enough the SW and CW vehicles are scanning both at the price checker and the register as vintage figures with a price point of

$9.99!!!!

I bought the snowspeeder and the Clone Tank for under $23 with tax!!!  Saved a whack of cash.  I don't know if this means all the stores the company ownes (Loblaws, Superstore, Fortino's etc) are all going to have the error, but if you live near one, it's definitly worth checking.

Yeah that is a great price find, at 10$ i could use another snowspeeder, paint it up in the orange stripe colour scheme, although I could just wait for the eventual Hasbro Repaint.

Thanks for the heads up!  I managed to pick up 2 snowspeeders for $9.99 each. (Me so happy!) happy
