Anyone ever see one of these???
« on: July 24, 2010, 06:48:16 PM »

My Mom made it in ceramic class for me for christmas in 1981.
It's a night light and came with some of those old school christmas bulbs that got inserted up his "base".I've long since ditched them off for safety reasons and now use LEDs to get his glow on.
So I'm just wondering if anyone has seen any others like him.

I had a C-3PO and Darth Vader bust version and an R2 piggy bank. My mom had the whole ceramic studio... moulds, kiln etc. a long time ago as a hobby. I wish she still had that stuff.

I wonder what ever happened to those particular pieces? I should ask her.

Trust me.

For Christmas 1982 my mother presented me with the ceramic Darth Vader that she made in her night class.  Even though I've never bothered to replace the burnt out Christmas lights inside, it is still sitting proudly on display in my bedroom to this very day.  Ah, bless Mom.  She's the only person I've ever known from a pre-Star Wars generation who knows the difference between Star Wars and Star Trek.
