EU trivia
« on: August 12, 2010, 10:06:28 PM »

Here are a few EU questions (well, some part EU, some totally, but anyway...)

What is the name of Bossk's Dad?

What does Bossk mean in Trandoshan?

(they asked the Bossk questions because, as a surprise, they had the actor who played Bossk come up and ask a couple of questions, and had those for him to ask.  Unfortunately, the guy was 72, and when he tried to get off the stage, he fell off.  Fortunately, he didn't break his hip!)

What type of Gun does Han Solo use?

Who would be most liekly to use an E-11 blaster rifle?

Papabossk?

Bossk means "coolest bounty hunter ever even more cooler than boba fett" in Trandoshan. They have words for everything.

Don't ask me how, but I actually know who Bossk's father. The answer is Cradossk. He was a Bounty Hunter too, right?

That is crazy that the actor fell off the stage. Just like Bossk, always standing too close to the edge.

That's right.  He was part of the Bounty Hunter's Guild and appeared in the Bounty Hunter Wars books.

First one was already answered.

Not to sure on the meaning of Bossk.

Han Solo uses a DL-44 Heavy Repeating Baster

And would the E-11 be a Member of the Imperial Forces, like a Stormtrooper, and I do recall one of the IG-88 droids using one, just don't remember which one was onboard the Executor with the other hunters.

3 and 4 are correct..  Technically, Han had a modified Blastech DL-44, but in the contest, if you got DL-44, that was all you needed.

As for number 4, Stormtroopers are definitely most likely to have an E-11, although others could have them as well.

Any takers for the meaning of Bossk?  That is the one question outstanding.

I would say you got them completely correct, not just to a point.  The rest was just extra info, but not necessary for the answer.  Good job! :)`
