That is a great looking set up Yael. That old cardboard background works pretty well huh?

You should have saved that unveiling  for the diorama contest.  :winking0071:

Nice diorama!

I just picked up a Jabba today, and here are my initial thoughts:

Likes:
- lots of detail in all parts of the set
- neat that all of the pillows are loose and separate
- I like the detail put into the rings around the edge of the throne
- overall, the look is great!

Dis-likes (more me being picky than anything else!):
- disappointed there was no in-box diorama background of the Throne Room... seemed like a no-brainer to me
- Oola's outfit - seems a bit bulky. The pics I've seen of previous version look better to me
- Jabba's tail not as poseable as I was expecting... would have been nice if there was a wire running right thru to the tip of the tail
- Kind of concerned that the rubbery body material might get brittle over time... hopefully not!
- It might have been nice to make the bottom of the throne flip open to allow for the pillows, etc to be stored within
- moveable Jabba mouth would have been neat

I've never seen older versions of Jabba in person before, so I don't really have a comparison, but overall I'd say that while Hasbro could have done even better IMO, this set is quite nice and for $35 it is a pretty good deal. Definitely a nice addition to my shelf!

Is that Oola's twin sister way in the back?  :)

Yes that's part of the background. The left background is a print from a background on the net. Can't even remember were or when I found it.

The set looks cool, and so does the set-up, Bill.  Nice work.

I saw that Oola twin also.  Maybe a resurrected Greedo, too?

It's not a ressurected Greedo but the Rodian that was added to the band in the SE. But there's a Rodian dressed like Greedo in Jabba's Palace. Perhaps add Dengar and Bossk...

Dengar and Bossk are there. You'll see them someday in the wide angle shot. This is only half of the set up.

That's not even Oola's twin! Oola's twin is already the one dancing! Leia's there already, meaning Oola's already dead, no?  :rollfloorlaffsmiley:

Nice set up though! What's the lighting? Looks great and simple! A desk lamp?

I was just about to ask the same thing. It looks perfect. The tone of the whole scene, I am very impressed with it.
