Disney Park Exclusive Jedi Training Academy
« on: January 09, 2011, 11:30:07 AM »

Today the review is concerning Disney Park Exclusive Jedi Training Academy multipack. This set included 3 Jedi Padawans (2 youngs and 1 old), one Jedi master and Darth Vader. This set is only available at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. Release date is Spring 2009.

Darth Vader is same you see on the picture below. He is exactly the same as Darth Vader Vintage Original Trilogy collection (VOTC) 2004. The Jedi Master is an all-new figure. Old Jedi Padawan seem to be also an all-new figure. The 2 young Padawans are a kit-bash figure using the body of ASHLA & JEMPA (Saga 2003) with news heads.

The hasbro print dates under the foot of figures are weirds. Young Padawans Jedi are 2003, old Jedi Padawan is 1999, Jedi Master is 2004 and DV is 2004. So maybe some figures were supposed to be released before. My next review will be on The Boarding Party, an other Disney Park Exclusive. :snowtroopers:

Hmm, differences in the date stamps are normal since the padawans (and the jedi) are all kitbashed figures. E.G. , the "old" padawan seems to be EpI anakin with a different paint app. and a different head, hence the 1999 stamp. The 2 others are rehash of the Saga 2003 padawan 2 packs (ASHLA & JEMPA), as darthric previously mentioned it hence the 2003 stamp  ;)
