Funny! I spotted this today too on entertainmentearth! Some good army builders in there...and yet another somewhat confusing Hasbro offering a Legends Stormtrooper right around the time that the TVC stormtrooper should be available. Oh well!

Oh geez, these are terrible, terrible choices... only the Spacetrooper has any real appeal. Surely there are far better options for Hasbro to fall back on?  The snowtroopers and IG-88s seem to be selling well right now for example, they could've kept those in.  Certainly more Hoth rebels...

Yeah, but I guess this crap sells to kids or something!

I would much rather see some of your choices of course. Hoth troopers! the non-bearded version! Please!

I could use some Death Star Troopers, would have prefered them as vintage tough

You never know! As I pointed out, they will be offering Stormtroopers on Legends and Vintage card backs around the same time!

I would bet that this is one of those "let's get some money out of this mold one last time before we retire it" type situations.  The DST wasn't a good mold (just had too many issues - too tall, knobby joints, lacklustre sculpting) and I'm guessing that there's a new DST or DS Commander mold that'll be coming in the next 2 years to replace it - at least I really hope so, I'm down for 15 of these guys if Hasbro can do it right this time.

Saga Legends could've been way better if they had put in repeats of the ewok 2 packs (either version), Slave Leia, TFU Kota's militia guard, Votc Boba Fett (definitely better than this Saga one - eeew), the TLC Spacetrooper version of the Stormtrooper, Resurgence Luke, Resurgence R2, and maybe Commander Bly since it's been a while from the last time he was on the pegs I think.  Leave out Vader since he's being released non-stop in TVC anyway, and Hasbro needs to give Obi and Anakin a rest just once...

Theres a few good ones in this but alot of them will be on both Saga Legends and Vintage at the same time. R2, Anakin, Obi, Mace, Vader, Stormtrooper, Yoda, SBD now i know they are different but to me it seems like better choices couldve been made. But then again, Hasbro themselves said this is just a line to keep the main characters in rotation.

Wow, no Clones of any kind.

I do have agree with the above posts, there seems to be a bunch of wasted figures in this wave. And holy cow Hasbro! Give Obi and Ani a rest already. There are a few in ther that I would probably pick up, but most are a pass for me I think.

The whole Legends line is a waste... as far as I'm concerned they only need a Clone Wars line and a Movie/EU line. Other than the Spacetrooper (bleh) any of these can be picked up through the Vintage or Clone Wars line.

And yet...they almost always sell through. Hasbro will most likely continue its strategy with this line until it stops working for them...if it ever does. They have pretty explicitly said this on more than one occasion. It is a line to keep the in demand (by the masses and not necessarily us the adult collectors) met. If it continues to meet that demand, it will continue on as is I am sure. I think the few "exceptions" we see are probably representative of the amount of input we count for as a group...thus the Spacetrooper and DST in this wave.
