BD.34 Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi
« on: February 09, 2011, 08:43:59 PM »

I recently opened this legacy figure and noticed something. The neck moves as if broken. It moves slightly up and down and when I turn the head, the neck follows. Are they all like that or does mine has a broken neck?

Thanks.

If i remember correctly from mine the neck is not broken but is instead a ball joint where it attaches to the body, and where it attaches to the head, because you can take it right apart.

All 3 of my open Kenobi's do the same thing. Surprisingly, I tried to find another figure, recent figure, that had a similar "feature" and could not find one. Most of the others I picked up randomly (new Jedi Luke for example) all have their necks molded with their torsos. They are all one piece but the head is snap on. Kenobi seems to have both a ball jointed neck and snap on head. So it ain't broke!  :)

Just going over the first page about 90 percent of the posts are all about how to fix the issue (of bobble heading) but also explaining that the neck/head are both articulated.

Cool to know that it ain't broken. At first I taught that while giving it it's freedom, I had broken his neck while trying to get him out of the package because of the "elastique" (sorry, frenc canadian here so dont, know if that word exist) around the neck had snapped it.
