Wave 6 Lowdown Review
« on: July 09, 2011, 09:37:17 PM »

Luke (Dagobah): C

Almost perfect likeness. Other than that, a more or less kitbash of the Snowspeeder version. Added holster which seems like an afterthought, and I got the first release with the see-thru saber.

Weequay: C

Not the way I recall the original one being (wasn't it the one who prods Luke off the plank?) Otherwise decent articulation, a must get for any Jabba fans. Just not a very exciting figure overall.

Lando (General): B

Good likeness, overdue version. Articulation is good, but cape is too long IMO.

AT-RT Driver: C

Basically a re-release, with some improved paint apps.

Nikto Jedi: B

Way better than original release. Nice texture for the cloak, but again, a little long...Again, I got the one with the see-thru blade.

Clone Trooper: I honestly couldn't bring myself to buy it. Considering how many Clones I already have!! Pretty cool looking card tho!

Look closer, that's an - awsome and really improved - all new figure. The "new" vintage is at further right and the 3 older ones at the left :

He is improved, which is great - but he's still a clone and thus worth about $1 to me at this point. Clone overload has rendered me completely disinterested in any new versions.  :speechless-smiley-004:

I hear that. Another fig that is bugging me is the Super Battle Droid. I even passed on the new wave 5 Stormie when I was in FL.... :confused0024:

I will get a new stormy only if I can find one if the repainted ones. The one with the bad helmet holds no interest for me. The Super Battle Droid was an easy, easy pass.
