Warning sticker added to Vintage in the UK
« on: October 26, 2011, 08:00:11 PM »

Saw this pic at Rebel scum.  The sticker covers 80% of the cardback.  I pray this doesn't happen here.

looking at all the countries listed, there's nothing about Canada, so one could assume it won't happen here, but never say never! :scared0008:

I'm pretty confident this will not happen here. I think this is what Hasbro was referring to in a Q&A session a couple months ago (from one of the UK or German sites). The question was about distribution problems and missing waves in Europe, and Hasbro said something about these problems being due to new European Union regulations about warning stickers. The regulation likely says something about all products needing to have uber-multi-language warning labels that are large enough for someone to read from across the room. Another example of bureaucracy ruining life's simple pleasures.

Makes you wonder why the European countries could just get together and design a warning label icon of something to put on toys, you know just an image which will mean the same for all european countries. That way they could just put the smal icon sticker on all toys. It would save money on printing such large stupid labels.

But that would be too simple! Next, you'll be wanting them to get together and make their economies more streamlined too!   :mad0218:
