Vintage sale on Kijiji
« on: April 01, 2012, 06:59:35 AM »

I came across a guy selling some loose vintage figures.  I am waiting on a reply from him, but curious as to what people on here would value these figures at.  I have most of them, so I don't want to offer too much for the few I need, but it all depends what he wants, and his add makes me worried that he is thinking close to $1000.

Curious as to what others would mark a reasonable price range at:

Most are incomplete, well played with, and some are broken, depending on how many of the figures you need I would think $50 to maybe at the most $80 for the lot?  I'm pricing these as a buyer and not a seller, so like you said sounds like this guy might watch alot of storage wars and think he's sitting on gold.  Probably thinks the vader is a DT.

BTW i have a headless Fett and headless Biker Scout in case that Han inspires you to start a focus on that variant...

I agree with ThirdFloor.  If the seller read that Yahoo article a while ago on the top ten rare collectable toys, which quoted and pictured this single telescoping Vader as very rare, and somewhere in the $2000 - $3000 range, then you might have a hard time talking him down, or killing his dream of putting his kids through college.
