That's an interesting point. I've never heard of anyone getting stuck on this before.

If you have had several dealings with the same Troopers, the trust factor is already there!     EMT is the way to go!   I would reserve Paypal when dealing with auction type sites.....IMHO. :happy0025:

I just wanted to let you guys know how easy this Interac e-mail money transfer is - it rocks!  And you can easily send money to someone who uses a different bank - I've received two successful payments in the last week.

How would it work if you use a credit union instead of a bank?

They have a link in the email for other financial institutions, but I've never had to click it to see what happens. I'd check your online banking and see if the option exists under "transfers"... if not, I'd suggest you call the customer service at your branch and inquire.

I just wanted to chime in also to say how easy and convient this method of payment is.  I just made a transaction with someone from Toronto on Kijiji.ca and it was such a breeze.  I'll never request/ask for Paypal again when dealing with out of town collectors.

I just wanted to give this a bump - I received a lightning fast payment with the Interac e-mail money transfer.  Smooth as silk.  Easy as pie.  You get the idea.  Oh, and no fees.  :)

Do you wait to send the merchandise until after you see the funds? Thats alot of trust there isn't it?

Also, what happens to the password that you send out? Can someone else intercept this transfer if they know the password?

No it's all done with high-level encryption - if it's good enough for TD it's good enough for me :)

Also, the funds go right into your bank - much quicker than waiting for a paypal transaction to come through should you try to withdraw from them - that takes like 3 days.
