The Collection is Now Set-up!
« on: September 29, 2013, 06:58:39 PM »

Hey all,

I finished setting up my collection today!  Only took a month!  All figures are on Protech clear stands which are new.  I decided that since this is a new place I didn't want the jumbled look of the misc. Star Wars stands that come with figures.  The blocks and tiers are all 1x3s cut to fit, sanded down, and painted to match shelves.  This took a LONG time but I'm glad I did it as it let's me do some interesting figure set-ups.

I feel like if anyone will appreciate it, it will be you all.  Please check out the imgur gallery of the collection below:

Thanks!

Great job, Marasame! Love use of the package displays for your shelving diaplays/dioramas.

The lightsabers on the wall look really sweet!

Your set up looks awesome!  The work that you put in paid off.  It's always great to be able to get your stuff out and enjoy viewing it.  Great collection, keep up the good work.

And it looks like you gave yourself some room for what's to come! Nice set up! Congratulations getting it done. You're right too, the absence of multiple types of stands really makes it feel more cohesive and slicker!

Thanks all!  Now I can finally get back to expanding the collection.  Lots for shelf space to fill up.

The gallery is missing my AT-AT and MTT as these would not fit on the shelves.  As such, to the right to these shelves I need to set up a wider shelf to accommodate these big guys (in addition to more figures!).  I'm thinking of custom building a shelf here that is both wide and deep so I can set up more epic displays (ie. Battle of Hoth, Geonosis Arena, etc.).
