you won't be disappointed with him. Just make sure to carefully inspect his blasters (especially the long one). Some were really warped.

Mine is ok (not perfect) but some were pretty bad...

Is that paying homage to hasbro?

Got my stuff today, bittersweet. A regular 1/2 hr drive took longer through a storm, ok. 113 duties, ok. Get my stuff home, open the Vader, at first glance looks ok. I tear open the Fett, which I can't wait to see, it's awesome. So everything's ok, right? Nope. So you're thinking I have bent guns, nope. I have a broken gun, his right blaster is broken. I take a pic, then go out to get glue. I come back and think I better check the Vader ( which I gotta say is better than The ANH version, but looks like a piece of garbage compared to the Mythos Fett ). The Vader has a mark/indentation on the very middle front if his helmet m and he had a cape that looks like I cut it myself. Disappointing, considering the prices. So I emailed SSC, waiting to hear back from them.

That sucks. Sorry to hear your luck. I got my Vader last week. My beef isn't with SS, it's with FedEx. I paid my delivery charges when they dropped it off, now they're hounding me with a bill that says I still owe from delivery charges??? I called and they're opening an investigating (gee thanks).

Anyway... the cape doesn't come with a hem. It's because if they added a hem or use anti-fray glue it wouldn't drape properly. The rumor is anything that looks bad will be replaced if notified... same goes for the other parts. Apparently they have extra parts available now... "while they last". The same old "sideshow" b.s.

Good luck, I hope it gets sorted out.

I've learned my lesson with FedEx and UPS.

They ALWAYS charge me "brokerage fees". A nice little bill that arrives 2 weeks to a month after I receive the item with no warning on the item I receive that it will be coming.

My worst experience was when I was on a bike trip in Oregon and decide to UPS my own bike (bought in Canada) back to myself so I wouldn't have to deal with it on the bus/airplane...anyway, I even asked if I would be charged import duties or anything. They said no, not if you bought it in Canada. So whaddya know? I pay $150 to send it back and get another $60 bill later on. I tell them I have receipts but they don't want to hear it. So I say, fine, I'll pay but that's the last ounce of business you get from me! And I've stuck with it.

Except for the one time I didn't notice that an ebay seller in the States was using it and I bought the OTC Sandcrawler for $65 and got hit with another $50 bill for brokerage fees a month later! And now I always ask Ebay sellers how they will be sending it. Always.

And over the years I've got one or two such charges from USPS. And that's after many many shipments.

Yeah you gotta watch for those duty/brokerage fees.

What bothers me is the delivery guy says he needs money for brokerage fees before leaving the package. Which I agree to. He takes my info and has me sign, now there's no record I paid... I even checked my credit card statement online, nothing. Now what?

Anyway I'm derailing this thread. Sorry.

The mytho statues collection look great! Are they continuing it?

Nothing planned for this year anyway. I'm glad, my two favs are Vader and Fett ( character and Mythos ), I had no desire to purchase , the pig, the younger old man, or that red prequel guy. The only way I'd consider buying another would be Vader/Fett 2.0
