I checked my local Disney store this morning and I can confirm that the 5 piece Die-cast 6" figure set is indeed on sale for $94.99.  The heavy gunner equipment does look like it might be detachable from the trooper body but I would really have to see the figure loose to confirm.

Thanks for the confirmation.  Too bad $94.99 is still too much for a set of figures I don't collect.  If only they didn't put the blood on Finn's helmet as I want a clean helmet.

Actually, when you buy the individual FN2187 in the Elite Die-cast series, he does have a clean helmet.  At least mine does.

I know, but I don't collect this line and if that box set was reduced enough for me to buy, then I wouldn't be buying it just for the Heavy blaster Stormtrooper, but for the clean Finn helmet too...haha.

The Disney Store in Mississauga has reduced their 6" Die-Cast Elite figures from $31.95 to only $12!  This is a huge saving for these figures.  They still had a good selection of characters from both Rogue One and The Force Awakens.
The 12" figures are $25 each on sale.

Passing through on the way to Oshawa this weekend.  Hope there are still some left....

So, I picked up the Riot Control Stormtrooper for $13 cause I wanted the gear for my BS Stormtrooper.  Here's the results.

The baton rotates:

The shield can go on and off without heating or removing the hands.  It's really nice.

You can pose him in shooting position using the shield too

Best part, he can be displayed with baton extended.

And can do cool defensive poses

With Luke attacking (was only lightsaber wielding figure I had handy)

I went to the Disney Store at Vaughan Mills today, specifically looking for the newer 6" Elite Riot Control Trooper on sale for $13.  I didn't see one initially but a helpful clerk got down on his hands and knees, pulled out a moveable bunk, and found the last one for me!  The best news of all is that they are now down to $7.99 each.
There is still a good selection left of these figures - mostly Rogue One:  Baze Malbus, Bodhi Rood, Chirrut Imwe, K-2S0, C2-B5, Jyn Erso, Death Trooper, and Cassian  Andor.
Also some TFA figures such as Rey, First Order Stormtrooper, and the new Finn with blue lightsaber.
I thought they were a great value at $13, but now even better at $7.99!

Darn, the one I went to was still $13.  Only Finn, Poe, Ren, and Phasma were $7.99.

After coming back from Vaughan Mills where I got the $7.99 figure, I called their Square One store and asked if they were on sale there.  The fellow I spoke to said that their sale price was $13.  When I told him I picked up a figure for $7.99 he told me that there were only a few specific figures at that price.

I must say that I noticed $7.99 price tags on some of the packs only but when I asked the clerk who looked after me he said - no, all are the same price - $7.99.

So who is right?  I guess I lucked out.

Does the Disney store carry the Astromech Packs or are they Park exclusive?

 :fett:

Historically, all Droid Factory figures (including astro packs) have been Park exclusives, but were also made available on the US Disney app store. I have never seen them in Canadian Disney stores.

Thanks for the info  :)` It's a shame they aren't.
