Fan's Choice 6"
« on: June 26, 2015, 08:10:19 PM »

Hasbro is apparently having another fan's choice figure, unfortunately only for the six inch scale.  Jedi Temple Archives and probably other fan sites, but I'm not sure, are holding polls right now to be given to Hasbro as input for the upcoming figure.

Here is the link to JTA's poll for anyone who doesn't visit that site regularly but would like to add their votes to the poll.

Some cool choices. I would have to vote for OT characters, but admittedly my heartstrings were pulled by the thought of a 6" Darth Tyranus in honour of Christopher Lee.

I'd have to go with a Bespin Lando.  Lando never gets any love.

I agree. This is unfortunate. Much rather liked to have a 3-3/4" poll, but it's obvious where Hasbro has been getting at over the past 2 years, dedicating its effort towards the 6" line for the collector market and keeping the 4" line for the kids.

Anyway, even though I'm really not into 6" figures (none so far, proudly resisting and I can tell you it's not very hard considering the poor quality of products being offered so far, by the way how many rehash of troopers you got so far in this line? How can they produced a so ugly 6" Vader? Why does Luke Bespin does not look like Mark Hamill? Why dwarf IG-88? Giant Leia Boushh anyone? POTF2 sculpt for the Tauntaun?) So even though I'm not into buying this somewhat crappy line, I would definitely vote for a figure that's not likely to be released in the toy line because not a core character.

Like this one: Yak Face

(This way, the mold would be ready to be shrinked down to the 4" line size!!)  :cool0037:

But I would also like to vote for 1-2 figures that are obscure or not really appreciated to dare Hasbro to release it to the market, just to see if they'd be true to their words.

My first choice would go to: Jaxxon.

My runner up would be: Jar Jar Binks.
