Initially when I heard about this this I was pretty exicited but I've watched the news coverage of this and as far as I can tell there is going to be 6 life-sized costumed mannequins and some "limited edition" t-shirts for sale that say "The Force Awakens Exhibit Toronto" on the back for $25 ... which other otherwise looks identical to the licensed t-shirt I bought at Walmart for $10 that doesn't have Toronto written on the back, which is more preferable to myself actually.

I'm going to go check it out tomorrow morning regardless, 'cause I'm an addict and that's what I do, but am I being to cynical thinking its going to be lame ?

Hopefully they have something there to make the trip worthwhile. I saw the Smithsonian exhibit of movie props & costumes when I visited my brother in Minneapolis a few years ago & my mind was completely blown - it was absolutely awesome. Not sure if the costumes might be right from the film or not, but hopefully they're of comparable quality.

I don't think we will see any props or museum quality stuff. But I will still go next week and take the kids.

Was downtown today, but the lineup was quite long so didnt wait it out.  Talked to some people upon exiting and they said they had costume props Phasma, Rey, Stormtrooper, Kylo and and area setup to take pics with a BB-8 prop.  They had the 2 exclusive shirts for sale and gave away some posters. They looked to be about 14x20 in size. Ill probably go in and check it out to see if theres anything else to it on monday or tuesday during the day when it wont be so busy.

I went today on my lunch break.

It was underwhelming and certainly not worth lining up for (I just walked in).

Very small space with a few life size statues of the new characters.

The t-shirts were $25.
