I need your help
« on: December 06, 2015, 09:59:42 AM »

Hi guys,

As some of you know, I am a part-time dealer. I do shows in the greater Toronto area.

On Dec.5 I did a show and while unloading my stuff, someone (had to be another dealer) stole one box from me. It contained the following:

about ten 6-inch captain phasma
about five 6-inch stormtrooper (new one)
2 disney die cast stormtrooper
2 disney die cast kylo ren

All of the above were purchased from the US so they will have US packaging (not sure if the canadian ones are bilingual).

Not to "give it away" but there is a way I can tell if the product is mine. So, if you happen to see someone unloading a bunch of the above on kijiji/craigslist/ebay, or a local show, please pm me. I highly doubt I will get these back, but you never know.

Not the end of the world but it sucks.

Thanks for hearing me out.

(ps mods, hope it's ok to post this. If not, please delete)

100 percent fine, Ambasah. Sorry this happened. :(

For what it's worth, I think it might be worth while to create an online police report regarding the incident with whatever service was the one of jurisdiction (Toronto Police, Peel, Durham - not sure where you were exactly). Get yourself a file # now, so that if you wind up finding your stuff later at another show you can simply make a call & have a file to quote. They would certainly send a car over in an instance like that - a lot more quickly than if you had to explain it over the phone from the beginning I would think.
