Shinny head and Matte heads
« on: April 30, 2016, 02:35:58 PM »

Two days ago I came across one case of six inch Wave 5 and two cases of Wave 6, one was the original assortment and the second was the revised assortment.  Between those three cases there were two each of Luke, Han, Kanan and Jango but all of the pairs had a different date stamp from it's partner.  I noticed that ones that had date stamp of 52791 seemed to have 'shinier' faces and better paint apps that gave the figures more of 'life'.  The ones that were date stamped 60121 all seemed to have a matte finish and the paint apps were weaker.  Although I am not able to open both and compare the texture in my hands it seems to me that there was different plastics used creating that effect.  Although the difference is very subtle it makes a big difference to me in how the faces looked.  I will try later today to take some pictures.

Has anyone else noticed this?
