Lego Dimensions Series 2
« on: June 11, 2016, 10:42:00 PM »

So E3 is coming up this week, and ahead of the show comes a trailer and list for the next round of Lego Dimensions expansion sets. Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGT9PrwRHdY

At this point I guess it's now obvious who the target market is for this, what with the expansions being heavily weighted by 80's entertainment. Here's a list of the new franchises that are coming up:
- Harry Potter
- Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
- Gremlins
- Ghostbusters 2016
- Mission Impossible
- The LEGO Batman Movie
- Sonic The Hedgehog
- The Goonies
- Teen Titans Go!
- LEGO City Undercover
- Knight Rider
- The A-Team
- The Powerpuff Girls
- Beetlejuice
- E.T. The Extraterrestrial
- Adventure Time

From an Amazon posting, it looks like the first wave will be:
- Ghostbusters 2016 Story Pack $50 (includes a new build for the portal base, and I'm assuming a longer story mode than most)
- Mission: Impossible Level Pack $30 (Ethan Hunt, IMF Sport Car, IMF Scrambler motorcycle)
- Adventure Time Level Pack $30 (Finn the Human, Jakemobile, Ancient War Elephant)
- Adventure Time Team Pack $25 (Jake the Dog, Lumpy Space Princess, Lumpy Car, BMO)
- Harry Potter Team Pack $25 (Harry Potter, Lord Voldemort, Enchanted Car, Hogwarts Express)
- The A-Team Fun Pack $12 (B.A. Baracus, B.A.'s Van)

Man, that's a wide variety of awesomeness! Imagine BA Baracus teaming up with the Ghostbusters.... my head is spinning!  :rollfloorlaffsmiley:

Honestly, with the fun lego brings to their games I can see at least one reason for Disney packing it in with Infinity.

I thought the same thing.  80s all over the place.  A bit of everything really but mostly 80s.

The most wanted in this house are Sonic, the HP set and Adventure Time.
