I might have to go that route, CJ. I mistakenly told everyone we would go together - trying to find a slot where no one is working, in school or studying is proving to be a pain in my  :explosion:

Once I thought about it - I know going to see in IMAX even it was alone made sense.  My family does not like 3D at theatres.  But we do find at home it is a great experience.   Hopefully I will be sitting with some fans on Friday and can we can have good conversation.

I just won 2 tickets to the first screening on Thursday at the local Ultra AVX screen, through a local kid's charity/toy show/501st organization. I've never done an opening day screening for anything before, will be kinda cool especially since I am pretty excited for the film.

I'd love to take my oldest daughter but not sure how she'd be with the 3D aspect, especially since she already wears prescription glasses. It's also at her bed time on a school night, haha. I'll probably just take a buddy and then drag the whole family to a regular screen during Christmas break instead.

Tomorrow's the big night. For the sake of those who will not be seeing it right away, please do not post any spoilers here. I am starting a thread in the Star Wars Movies section where people can comment, including spoilers (although please state right off the bat if your comments will include spoilers, as some people may read just looking to see if reviews are positive or negative).

If you didn't see the hyperlink above, click HERE instead to go to the review thread.

Well I am not going alone - my wife is taking a break from work to go see the movie with me.  She is my Princess Leia  :D   Everybody enjoy the show - I have just one more sleep until I see it.

I'll be with you in spirit, CJ - though I will not be spirit-sitting between you & the mrs.

Last ditch effort yielded one ticket for me tonight at 1015 - Ira Needles theatre in Waterloo in case anyone else is headed to that location.  :)`

A friend once asked me, "Why does a movie have such a grip on my life?" I am waiting for a good answer still.
