Lego 75192
« on: September 27, 2017, 07:05:39 AM »

I'm in line at the lego store fairview mall.  2nd in line.  Gonna get the Falcon.  I can't belive it but it seems that everyone in line is a re seller.  No one seems to be a true star wars fan. It's kind of disappointing.

Hope it worked out - there was some suggestion none would get to retail! Please let us know how the build goes.

As per the re-sellers - that's still a big risk to me. I hope some of them get "stuck" with it & learn their lesson the expensive way.  :kar:

I will!  Probably won't start to build it until November.  Need to make space for it also!   :star-wars-smiley-008:

I guess those reports weren't 100 percent accurate. I saw the articles too, not just the various posts here, so that was "official" they were sold out. Again I'm happy some that wanted them got them!

That's indeed what I've read on various sites. But I'm beginning to think that some may have wanted people to believe this set was completely sold out in order to invite them to reach out their pocket money and drop the motherload on those insane eBay auctions. The Hell, I'm fairly sure that ugly bastard working at the Lego Store I've been to is among those who are trying to resell on eBay the few they acquire.

Like I said, in any case, patience. This is the key. Don't rush. The set is supposed to be around for 2-3 years...

I am down in Florida.  On Sunday I went to Disney World Downtown where they have a big Lego Store.  On display was the big MF.  I can tell you after seeing it in person that it is really impressive.   It is an expensive set - but if you are willing to part with that much money on a lego set - I do not think you will be disappointed .

You were in Florida and you didn't take orders for BYODroids. For shame >:(

I should give you "Disney" people an update.  The big toy store at the one end of downtown disney is mostly shut down except for a small section - toys like buzz light year are here.   They are putting in a virtual reality Star Wars experience were the old Star Wars area was.

They have moved all things Star Wars into it's own store by Goofy Treats/Christmas store area.   Nice it has it's own store but they do not have much space allocated now for Star Wars.  As a result the spot where you assemble Droids is smaller and is located right by a door -so people are coming and going all the time - so the experience of assembling a Droid is no fun at all if the place is busy.   My suggestion would be to go really early in the morning or late at night if you are trying to enjoy the experience of assembling your own droid.
