A bit late but there's still time. This was a two day event which I just found out about. Sale and clearance items are included. Offer applies in-store and online.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who learned about this late.  I was at my TRU yesterday and there were no signs posted about the 15% off.  Today there was... but only on a few shelves.

Yet I bought a transformer yesterday and didn't get the 15% off.  Not sure if even TRU knew that they were supposed to be having that sale yesterday, lol. I'm going to go back and see if I can get my receipt adjusted.

Thanks to you guys, I picked up some Lego sets there today. Got the some advent calendars for my girls since they never seem to go on sale anyways. Friends one was reg price but I think the City was actually 20% off. Also picked up a few of the small SW sets that were on for 20% off. Then another 15% off everything, and on top of that I qualified for the free minifig 4-pack. So worked out pretty well for once, haha.

The clerks actually have to scan a barcode sheet that they have up at the cash to apply the 15% off. So if the person doesn't know or happens to forget, I'm assuming the system doesn't catch it at all.

Thanks Wedge, that must've been what happened. I didn't recognize the girl at the cash yesterday so she must've been one of their new seasonal hires for the coming XMas season. Probably still learning the ropes.

I had signed up a while back on the tru.ca website to be alerted to any upcoming promotions and offers, yet I never saw a darn thing in my email. Heck, I've yet to get a single email from them. 

Did anyone get an email promoting this whole 15% off thing?  I get the feeling that whoever is in charge of their emailing out of upcoming promotions isn't doing their job or you register and it goes right into some database and never used.

They must be going into your spam, I got an email & then another one apologizing because the link didn't work in the first one. I likely get at least one a week if not 2 from TRU.ca.

It was a good sale, I was able to purchase 12 Rogue One Stormtroopers $6.99 + 15% off that was awesome!

But they are $3.37 each starting today though.  I think it would be a better deal if you just go back and price adjust them now.

I didn't find out they went down to $3.37 until about an hour after I made that post, unfortunately the Stormtroopers are all sold out now.
I would have bought a few more at that price.
Tomorrow morning I am going to my local store to take care of the price adjustment.
I have 78 R1 Stormtroopers now.
