I signed up to have a table because FREE! I've never "done" a show before from the other side, so we'll have to see how that goes. For anyone else wondering what to do with themselves on December 31, 2017 - have a look at this link & consider!

Man, if I was not going to be up at the cottage, I so would be there.  A chance to haggle with jjreason and beat him down on all his my little pony toys - should not be missed.   :party0007:

You would only walk away wondering why you were so happy paying double!  :kar:

Your right of course, pretty hard to walk away from a good my little pony doll, whatever the cost.  :u:

But on the other hand, it would be easy to throw in the trash compactor, one of those "I just realized how crappy Marvel Superheros are" figures that you will be selling.    Please anyone who can help jjreason out - please go to his table.  He needs money to buy some real DC Superhero figures.    :D

Good luck with the toy show tomorrow night.  I wish I could have done that show as well......or at least swing by before midnight. Unfortunately, this is one show my wife has refused to attend with me. She is a big supporter of my hobby...but not on Dec 31st.

Well I guess it was interesting. A lot of people came through, but I think many were surprised there were actually toys for sale, as opposed to just an exhibition of older vintage toys.

The arcade appeared very popular on the main level. I would suggest there were close to 100 vendors there - everyone close to me was super friendly & helpful, they had mostly been through it many times before.

I would call my sales a bit disappointing in terms of how much "stuff" I had lug home, but some things that sold did surprise me for sure. Old metallic cards based on the Dark Empire comic series? One of the first items gone! POTF2 Jabba? Gone quickly as well!  :rollfloorlaffsmiley:

I would consider trying something like it again, provided the same FREE cost was in place. I can't imagine I could ever sell enough to cover the cost of  $40-50 table and any gas I'd need to purchase to get to a show any further away from home than this one.
